Abyss on Roblox uses limited-time codes that grant Star Shards, potions, oxygen items, and event currency. Codes are case-sensitive and can only be used after finishing the tutorial.

How to redeem Abyss codes
Step 1: Start Abyss in the Roblox app or browser. You can search for “Abyss [BETA]” in Roblox or open the experience from its page at https://www.roblox.com/games/127794225497302/Abyss.
Step 2: Play through the tutorial quests until they are marked as finished. In some descriptions this includes completing the first quest for the Kraken and seeing the “Tutorial – Finished” text.
Step 3: Once you have control after the tutorial, click or tap the gear (cog) icon at the top-left of the screen, just under your cash balance, to open the Settings menu.
Step 4: Scroll to the bottom of the Settings menu until you see the field labeled for entering codes, often shown as an “Enter code…” or “Codes” box.
Step 5: Click or tap inside the code field and type the code exactly as shown in the table above, using the same capitalization and with no extra spaces before or after the text.
Step 6: Press the button labeled “Claim” or “Redeem” next to the field.
Step 7: Confirm the redemption. In many cases there is no pop-up, and rewards are applied directly; check your Star Shards, cash, and items in the bottom-right of the HUD or in your inventory to verify that the reward has arrived.
How to confirm a code worked
Successful redemptions are reflected by changes to your currencies and items rather than a big confirmation window. After you redeem a code, compare your Star Shards and relevant items (such as potions or Valentines Tickets) before and after redemption.
When a code fails, Abyss may show a brief message indicating that the code is invalid, expired, or already used, or it may simply not change your totals. If nothing changes, treat the code as either entered incorrectly, already consumed, or no longer active.
Why an Abyss code might not work
There are a few common reasons a code will not redeem correctly:
- Tutorial not finished: Codes only work after you complete the tutorial sequence and the initial Kraken quest. Attempting to redeem earlier will not trigger rewards.
- Typing or spacing error: Abyss codes are case-sensitive. Extra spaces, missing letters, or using lowercase where uppercase is required will cause the redemption to fail.
- Code already used: Each code can usually be redeemed once per account. If you have already claimed it, trying again will not grant rewards.
- Code expired: Event-based codes such as early “RELEASE” or “BUGFIX01” promotions stop working after their window ends.
How to get more Abyss codes
New codes are typically issued around content updates, events, or milestone celebrations. To find additional codes when they appear, many players monitor official developer channels such as the Abyss Discord server or the developer’s Roblox group, and then redeem them through the same Settings menu code box.
What Abyss code rewards are used for
Star Shards gained from codes are primarily used for race rerolls and other progression systems, allowing you to chase stronger race bonuses. Potions such as Strength Potion, Love Potion, Drop Luck Potion, and Speed Potion temporarily improve combat, encounter, or movement stats, while oxygen items like Small Oxygen Pods increase how long you can safely stay underwater during dives. Event items such as Valentines Tickets can be spent in limited-time shops during their respective events.
