ARC Raiders 1.1.0 update — key fixes to augments, shields, and UI

ARC Raiders’ 1.1.0 update is a focused, post-launch pass on stability and reliability. The patch targets broken Augment behavior, shield recharge clarity, crash triggers, and a handful of nagging UI and map issues. On some platforms you’ll see the same build labeled 1.000.006. Functionally, it’s the same rollout.

What’s fixed in ARC Raiders 1.1.0

The table below groups the changes by area for quick scanning. Items apply across platforms unless noted as PC-specific.

PC — Social Fixed Steam avatars not appearing on the Social tab.
Maps — Blue Gate Fixed geometry issues.
Maps — Buried City Fixed a pathing bug where players could end up on train tracks near metro extractions.
World art Corrected material on some interior floors and improved lighting in specific areas.
Store Store images now scale uniformly regardless of aspect ratio.
Store The Store no longer scrolls to the top after using the Back option.
UI — Trials Fixed an issue where the Trials screen could be opened from customization before it was unlocked.

Quality-of-life changes you’ll notice

The most visible change is the new shield charge progress indicator. Before this patch, shield recharging behavior could feel opaque; you can now track charge at a glance. Barricade placement rules are also tighter around zipline exits to prevent griefing and chokepoints at critical movement nodes.

On the systems side, proximity chat should sound normal again, and the on-screen speaking indicator is more reliable. The Trials and Store fixes remove a couple of frustrating UI snags, including unwanted scrolling and prematurely accessible screens.

PC-specific fixes (memory, avatars, and graphics)

Three PC-only problems have been addressed: a memory leak tied to Steam avatar images, Steam avatars failing to appear on the Social tab, and rendering glitches at Epic graphics settings. If you’ve been dealing with creeping RAM usage over long sessions or odd artifacts on top presets, this patch targets both.

World and extraction fixes

Level polish touches several spots: materials and lighting in select interiors, geometry cleanup on the Blue Gate map, and a fix for players ending up on the Buried City metro tracks. These changes aim to reduce snag points and soft-locks during extractions.

Feature behavior changes (Codex trackers)

Virtual tracking for Codex trackers is temporarily disabled while objective unlock issues are sorted out. The change is preventative: it ensures all objective types register correctly rather than leaving you with partial or missing progress. Expect this to return once the underlying unlock logic is fully corrected.

How to get the update

If your client hasn’t already updated, restart the game to trigger the download. On console, updates typically install automatically when the system is online; on PC launchers, closing and reopening the client forces a check.

Version labels you might see

This rollout appears as “1.1.0” in the patch notes and “1.000.006” on some platforms. The content is the same; only the versioning scheme differs by platform.

This is a pragmatic first patch: fewer headline features, more trust-building fixes. Augments should behave consistently, shields are easier to read, and a handful of hard edges in chat, UI, and maps have been sanded down. Keep an eye on future updates as additional fixes and content cadence settle in.
