Find the flooded solar panels (Grandioso Apartments, Buried City)
Head into the Buried City and move toward Grandioso Apartments. You’re looking for a cluster of solar panels on the ground level, not rooftops. The area will be partially flooded; several panels are intact, but one will be flagged as damaged and interactable.

Close the distance before you start your repair to avoid drawing fire mid-animation, and sweep the immediate perimeter for hostiles or other raiders first.
Materials needed to complete the repair
You need these components in your inventory before you can finish the job:
- 5 Wires
- 2 Batteries
Approach the faulty panel and start the repair. Hold the interaction key until the action completes; releasing early cancels progress.
Step-by-step walkthrough
- Travel to the Buried City and reach Grandioso Apartments.
- Locate the ground-level, flooded solar array; identify the damaged panel.
- Ensure you have 5 Wires and 2 Batteries in your inventory.
- Begin the repair and hold the prompt until it completes.

- Extract to secure your progress and the repaired objective.
- Turn in to claim 24,000 XP and two Showstoppers.
What can go wrong
- Interruptions cancel the repair. If you take fire or move, you’ll need to restart the hold-to-repair action.
- Death before extraction can cost your progress toward the turn-in. Complete the repair, then leave promptly.
- Misplaced search effort wastes time. The panels you need are on the ground near the complex, not on roofs.
The quest is short by design, but the location’s open sightlines mean you should plan for a quick approach, a single uninterrupted repair, and a clean exit. Secure the area, hold the interaction through completion, and extract—your XP and Showstoppers are waiting on the other side.
