Eyes in the Sky asks you to install LiDAR scanners at three high points across Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Buried City. Two are straightforward once you find the right structure; the Galleria sign in Buried City is the outlier and demands a precise climb with a zipline. Here’s the cleanest route to each.

Eyes in the Sky objectives and what you’ll actually do

You’re placing scanners at predefined tripods. You don’t need to carry or equip a scanner item; when you reach the correct spot, an interaction prompt appears and your raider installs it automatically.

Note: You can complete the three placements across multiple sessions. Progress is credited as each scanner is installed; they do not need to be done in a single run.

Dam Battlegrounds: install at the Control Tower

Head for the Control Tower and ascend to its highest platform. The install tripod sits at the top. Interact to place the scanner and move on—there are no special traversal requirements here.

Spaceport: install at the Communications Tower

Make for the Communications Tower on the eastern side of Spaceport. Climb the ladder to reach the upper level, then take the right-hand walkway. The tripod is positioned along this catwalk. Interact to install the scanner.

Buried City: install on top of the Galleria sign (zipline required)

This is the tricky one and the reason players get stuck. Bring a zipline gadget; the objective cannot be reached without it.

Get onto the Galleria roof, set up a zipline and zip up to the walkway

  • Reach the Galleria in the east‑central part of Buried City. It’s easy to spot by the tall pillar above the building capped with a large emblem that resembles a “Q.”
  • Get onto the Galleria roof. From the rooftop’s southeast edge, use the jutting wooden planks to cross toward the sign pillar.
  • Stand at the base of the pillar and aim your zipline at the narrow walkway near the very top. Anchor as high as possible on that catwalk.
  • Zip up to the walkway. The tripod is on this uppermost platform; interact to place the final scanner.

Tip: The install prompt appears only on the top walkway above the sign. If you anchor the zipline too low or to the wrong face, you won’t see the prompt—reposition and re‑anchor higher.

What to expect during installation

  • No manual item handling: the scanner deploys via a context prompt at the tripod.
  • One‑and‑done placements: once installed, you can leave the area immediately; you don’t need to defend or power the device.
  • Flexible order: visit the three sites in any sequence that fits your route or bounty targets.

Once all three scanners are up—Control Tower, Communications Tower, and the Galleria sign—you’re finished with Eyes in the Sky. If you saved Buried City for last, double‑check you brought a zipline before you head out; that single tool is the difference between a quick install and a wasted trip.
