How to equip and throw grenades

  • Before heading topside, drag the grenade or explosive into your loadout.
  • In raid, open your inventory to equip a grenade, then hold the fire button to cook and release to throw.
  • To avoid opening your bag each time, place throwables in a quick‑use slot. During a raid on PC, hold Q to open the selection wheel, pick the item, hold fire to cook, then release to throw.

After a short delay or on impact (depending on the item), the grenade will detonate or begin its area effect.

Where grenades drop in raids

  • Most gadgets, grenades, and utility items can be found in lootable containers in‑raid.
  • ARC‑specific gadget and grenade items can drop from ARC husks or destroyed ARC enemies.

Which Arc Raiders grenades hit hardest

From the confirmed stats above, Bison Driver has the highest single‑instance damage at 100, followed by Heavy Fuze Grenade at 80. Blaze Grenade and Fireball Burner apply damage over time that adds up only if targets remain within the burning area, while Gas Grenade trades health damage for sustained stamina drain.

Pick based on your goal: a Bison Driver or Heavy Fuze to break clusters, fire‑based options to control space, and Gas to exhaust Raiders before a push. Slot one in quick‑use and keep the materials for a mid‑raid Light Impact or Smoke if you need a fast craft.
