What’s in the November “North Line” update
November brings the first big post-launch patch. Stella Montis, the game’s fifth map, expands the Rust Belt with a new destination to explore and extract from. The update layers in a themed community event and new quests, and it widens your toolkit with additional weapons and utility items designed to counter tougher ARC threats and rival raiders. Two new ARC machines—Matriarch and Shredder—are slated to shake up encounters and force different approaches to scouting, aggro management, and disengagement.
What’s in December’s “Cold Snap” update
December shifts the battlefield with a Snowfall map condition that affects sightlines and skirmish pacing. The “Flickering Flames” event runs during the same window, alongside a new Raider Deck and more quests. The roadmap also calls out an Expedition departure window, marking the start of a new Expedition cycle.
Ongoing updates throughout the remainder of 2025
Outside those two drops, expect continuous housekeeping and small content beats: new map conditions rotated in, additional feats and trials to chase, more cosmetics, and steady quality-of-life improvements. The team frames this period as an iterative ramp—keeping the live game stable while adding variety across modes, goals, and visual customization.
How this changes play
- More places to land and exfiltrate: Stella Montis increases map variety and route planning options across the Rust Belt.
- Enemy roster growth: New ARC machines broaden encounter types and push squads to adjust loadouts and positioning.
- Live modifiers: Snowfall alters visibility and tempo, nudging different weapon choices and movement paths.
- Loop refreshers: Community events, quests, and the Raider Deck add short-term goals and longer-term progression targets.
Arc Raiders is positioned to spend the last two months of the year layering in new spaces, enemies, and goals while tightening the core experience. The studio signals this as a starting point for the live cadence, with more to follow beyond December.
