Major’s Footlocker is a focused retrieval quest on the Dam Battlegrounds: recover Major Aiva’s mementos from Ruby Residence and turn them in to Tian Wen back in Speranza. The pickup spot is fixed inside one apartment; the main challenge is reaching it and getting out with the item intact.

Head to the Ruby Residence apartment cluster on the northwest side of the Dam Battlegrounds. Orient yourself using the Hydroponic Dome Complex: Ruby Residence sits just to its east. You’re looking for a group of three apartments.

Enter the correct building and floor

  • Approach the westmost (leftmost) apartment building in the Ruby Residence cluster.
  • Go inside and climb to the top interior floor — one level below the roof. Do not go onto the roof; the objective item is on the top floor, not outside.

Locate and pick up Aiva’s mementos

  • On the top floor, find the room with a large, square window overlooking the trees/foliage outside.
  • There’s a table positioned in front of that window. Aiva’s mementos sit on the tabletop.
  • Interact to pick up the item; your objective will update to the delivery step.

Tip: If the interact prompt is finicky, stand flush with the table or briefly hop onto the desk to get the pickup angle.

Extract and deliver to Tian Wen

  • With the mementos in your inventory, either place them in your safe pocket or carry them to an extraction zone and leave the map.
  • Back in Speranza, speak with Tian Wen to hand over the mementos and complete the quest.
  • You’ll receive the Hullcracker Blueprint upon delivery.

Note: If you die before extracting and the item wasn’t in your safe pocket, the pickup won’t persist and you’ll need to revisit Ruby Residence to recover it again.

Once turned in, Major’s Footlocker is complete and the Hullcracker blueprint is yours for future use.
