Off The Radar quest objectives (what counts and what doesn’t)

Off The Radar is straightforward but time‑sensitive: reach any Field Depot and repair its rooftop antenna before the round ends. Progress does not persist between raids, so if you extract early or fail after starting, you’ll need to redo both steps in one go.

Once the repair completes, extract and turn in to claim the cosmetic reward.

Find a Field Depot (how the game surfaces the location)

Field Depots don’t always appear as a marked location at long range. Expect the icon or prompt to reveal itself only when you’re nearby. You can complete the objective on any of the main battleground maps where Depots spawn, including Dam Battlegrounds, the Spaceport, and the Buried City.

If you need a reliable landmark path, head toward the passage between the Water Towers and the Electrical Substation; a Depot spawns in that corridor. Treat this as a target area rather than a fixed pin, then sweep until the Depot identifier pops.

Identify the Depot (what to look for on the ground)

A Field Depot is a compact, repurposed cabin—think small tanker housing—with a radar dish mounted on the roof. That dish is your giveaway. The structure typically has an exterior ladder up one side; you’ll use it to reach the antenna for the repair step.

Confirm you’re at the right place before committing by checking for the rooftop radar and an interact prompt when you approach it.

Repair the antenna (the action that completes the quest)

  • Climb the ladder to the roof.
  • Walk up to the radar antenna until the interaction prompt appears.
  • Hold the interact key to begin repairs (default: E, or your custom binding).

Stay on the prompt until the repair completes. This is the decisive action for Off The Radar; you don’t need extra materials for the fix, just time on the interact. When the animation finishes, your objective will tick off.

Note: Because the quest must be finished in one raid, don’t leave the instance or go down in a way that resets progress before you’ve both visited the Depot and completed the repair.

Where a Field Depot fits into other quests

ARC Raiders uses Field Depots in multiple early objectives, so learning their silhouette and spawn logic saves time elsewhere:

  • Down To Earth: requires visiting a Field Depot, picking up a Field Crate, and delivering it to a Supply Station in the same run.
  • The Right Tools: includes “Visit a Field Depot” as an opening objective before combat tasks that follow.

In practice, the same visual cues—compact cabin, rooftop dish, ladder access—apply across these quests.

Quick checklist (fastest clean completion)

  • Drop into Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, or Buried City.
  • Move toward known utility landmarks; sweep the corridor between the Water Towers and Electrical Substation if nearby.
  • Confirm the Depot by the small cabin footprint and roof‑mounted radar.
  • Climb the ladder, hold interact on the antenna until the repair completes.
  • Extract and hand in to receive the Black Backpack (Hiker color).

Once you’ve internalized the Depot’s look and how close you need to be for it to register, Off The Radar becomes a quick in‑and‑out objective you can pair with other map tasks in the same route.
