Access is free, there are no codes or sign‑ups, and the build spotlights the Dam Battlegrounds with limited early progression. Expect special conditions like Electromagnetic Storms and Night Raids, and a possible encounter with the Queen.
ARC Raiders Server Slam dates and regional times
The Server Slam runs from Friday, October 17 through Sunday, October 19. Here’s the window by region:

PC download (Steam and Epic Games Store)
You can jump in on either storefront. It’s free during the test window.
- Steam: Install from the ARC Raiders page at store.steampowered.com/app/1808500/ARC_Raiders/. If you previously joined a playtest, the Server Slam may appear as an update in your library under the ARC Raiders Playtest entry. If the download doesn’t appear right away, restarting Steam can help; access can also open in waves.
- Epic Games Store: Grab the Server Slam listing at store.epicgames.com/p/arc-raiders-server-slam-79f964 and install.
Download size on PC is roughly 35GB. Install early to avoid throttles at peak hours.
PlayStation 5 download
Find the game on the PlayStation Store and start the Server Slam download when the window opens. Use the ARC Raiders concept page at store.playstation.com/concept/10003610 to jump in.
Xbox Series X|S download
Install the test build directly from the Microsoft Store. Use the Server Slam listing at xbox.com/games/store/arc-raiders-server-slam/9nnw8ltx9krb. If you don’t see it in search immediately, the listing typically propagates across regions over time—open the link on your console or in a browser and select Install to console.
What’s included in the Server Slam
- Mode/Scope: A focused slice of ARC Raiders with initial progression; not the full feature set.
- Map: Dam Battlegrounds.
- Events: Electromagnetic Storms, Night Raids, and a potential visit from the Queen.
This is a stress test aimed at backend and matchmaking stability ahead of launch on October 30.
Rewards and carryover
- Participation reward: An exclusive Server Slam Backpack will be granted to accounts that take part, delivered after purchasing the full game at launch on platforms that support it. You do not need to complete a challenge.
- Progression: Character/account progression from the Server Slam will not carry over to the full game.
Note: Rewards are tied to the platform/account you play on during the test, so use the same account you plan to use at launch.
Requirements and account setup
- An internet connection is required.
- An Embark ID is required to play, along with acceptance of the Terms of Service and EULA. Age restrictions apply, and platform storefronts may enforce higher minimums for playtests.
- You’ll also need the relevant platform account (Steam, Epic, PSN, or Xbox) signed in on your device.
Once you’re in, squad up and stress the servers—then watch for the full launch on October 30. If you run into issues during the window, use your platform’s standard support tools and ensure your Embark account is linked and signed in before matchmaking.
