The Arc Raiders Server Slam runs October 17–19, 2025, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Epic Games Store. It’s free for the weekend and serves as a large-scale stress test ahead of the full launch on October 30.

Participation is open; no codes or sign-ups are required. The event is intended for players 16 and up.

Does Server Slam progress carry over?

No. All gameplay progress from the Server Slam resets at launch. That includes character level, earned cosmetics, gear, resources, blueprints, Raider Deck progress, Feats/Cred, and any other unlocks. You’ll start fresh on October 30.

One exception exists: a single participation reward (an exclusive backpack) will be granted at launch to eligible players who take part in the Server Slam.

How to unlock the Server Slammer backpack at launch

  • Play Arc Raiders during the Server Slam window (October 17–19) on any supported platform.
  • Confirm you’re signed in with your Embark ID in the game client during the event. Use the same Embark ID at launch.
  • After October 30, launch the full game and the Server Slammer backpack will be available to claim on first login.

Note: Only the special backpack is carried forward. Nothing else you earn or unlock during the Slam will transfer.

What’s playable during the Server Slam

The event rotates players through the Dam Battlegrounds, a flooded, overgrown stretch of the Rust Belt. You can go solo or squad up. Expect a mix of PvE and PvP extraction play: patrols of ARC machines, competing Raiders, and extraction points that disappear over time—stay too long and risk losing your haul.

  • Weapons and gear: early and mid-tier items are available; some equipment is locked until launch.
  • Blueprints: all can be found, but top-tier crafts are disabled for the Slam.
  • Raider Deck: one page of rewards is open for testing; premium purchase options that grant in-game advantages aren’t available.
  • Workshop: basic Weapon, Equipment, and Medical crafting stations are active; upgrades are disabled.
  • Traders and quests: a limited set of early quests is available in Speranza.

Systems visible but not active yet include Projects (Expeditions), Trials, and the Codex. They’ll come online with the full release.

What to expect from ARC enemies

ARC units each force different responses: Wasps strafe from the air, Ticks punish close-range lapses, Bastions soak damage and punish overexposure, and Leapers close distance quickly. Use audio cues—engine hums, metal skitters, spooling weapons—to anticipate threats and adjust engagement ranges.

Quick reminders before you drop

  • Plan your loadout for the task at hand; you can’t bring everything.
  • Breaching is loud and draws attention from ARC and other Raiders.
  • Extraction points expire; balance greed against survival.
  • Know when to leave—anything not extracted can be lost.

The Server Slam is a clean slate rehearsal. Treat it as a chance to learn the Dam Battlegrounds, test a few early builds, and set up your account so the backpack reward appears on day one. When the full game unlocks on October 30, everyone starts even, and experience—not inventory—will be what carries you through Speranza.
