How progression works (points, paths, and mastery)

  • Battle Pass Points: earned from Weekly Challenges and Career XP. Each point unlocks one tier on any path you’ve opened.
  • Order of play:
    • Recruit path (5 tiers) teaches the system and then unlocks the four main paths.
    • Four main paths (22 tiers each): complete them in any order.
    • Ultimate path (7 tiers) unlocks after finishing all four main paths.
    • Prestige path (10 tiers) unlocks after Ultimate; designed for completionists and XP hunters.
  • In‑season paths: completing the four main paths gives you access to limited‑time seasonal paths added mid‑season. Mastery paths are not required to unlock these.

How to buy or upgrade

  • You can upgrade in‑game or via the Battlefield Official Store. Use the Battlefield store page to purchase the Premium Battle Pass or Battlefield Pro: store.ea.com/battlefield.
  • If you already purchased the Premium Battle Pass and then upgrade to Battlefield Pro, 1,100 BFC from the Battle Pass cost is automatically refunded to your account.

Missing Battle Pass rewards (quick checks)

  • Restart the game; some items appear after a relaunch.
  • Confirm you’re signed in to the correct EA account; progress and purchases are account‑bound.
  • Verify the path and tier where the item unlocks; some require completing specific tiers first.
  • Check your transaction history and BFC balance if you purchased an upgrade.

If items still don’t appear, follow the official troubleshooting steps here: help.ea.com/en/articles/battlefield/battlefield-6/battle-pass/.

Key takeaway: play either Battlefield 6 or REDSEC to earn Battle Pass Points, spend them on any path you’ve opened, and prioritize the paths that contain the weapons or cosmetics you want first. Free tiers include all functional weapons; upgrading unlocks broader access, progression boosts, and—if you choose BF Pro—exclusive content and convenience features.
