Cat Holloway in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1: Every style and how to unlock them

Cat Holloway is one of the headline original outfits in Fortnite Chapter Seven: Pacific Break, sitting alongside movie icons like The Bride and Marty McFly in the Chapter 7 Season 1 battle pass. She anchors the “Hollywood on the Golden Coast” vibe with a look that shifts from casual starlet to full-on media phenomenon, and she’s one of the few skins that push you into Fortnite’s new side modes to finish her wardrobe.

Where Cat Holloway sits in the Chapter 7 Season 1 battle pass

Cat Holloway is part of the core Chapter 7 Season 1 battle pass for Battle Royale. The pass includes eight main outfits:

  • The Bride
  • Cat Holloway
  • Kingston
  • Carter Wu
  • Carina
  • Marty McFly
  • Miles Cross
  • Dark Voyager (Reality Redacted)

Fortnite moved away from the old strictly tiered page unlock system. After reaching level 5, you choose a “set” to invest your XP into. Each Outfit lives inside one of these sets as a track of rewards (V-Bucks, wraps, back blings, etc.), with the skin itself usually unlocked by clearing the first page of that set.

Cat Holloway is one of the Fortnite-original faces in this lineup, alongside Miles Cross and Kingston. She also connects to Blitz Royale, one of the spin-off modes Epic is using to tie bonus styles to specific playlists.

All Cat Holloway styles in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 1

Cat Holloway has a base Outfit plus three distinct styles. They’re spread across normal battle pass progression, a Blitz Royale quest chain, and a full-pass completion reward.

Style name How to unlock What it represents
Cat Holloway (base) Claim every reward on page 1 of the Cat Holloway set Default look; your first version of Cat once you’ve invested into her section
Silver Screen Cat Claim every reward on page 2 of the Cat Holloway set More glamorous, “classic Hollywood” spin on the Outfit
Media Blitz Cat Complete Blitz Royale–specific quests that unlock on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 9 a.m. EST A high-energy, media-saturated version tied directly to Blitz Royale
Incognito Cat Complete the entire Chapter 7 Season 1 battle pass Endgame, “celebrity hiding in plain sight” variant

On top of these styles, Cat Holloway also has a bespoke emote built around a runway walk, leaning into the “leading lady” framing of the Season. She sits in the same Hollywood ecosystem as The Bride’s revenge narrative and Marty McFly’s time-travel nostalgia, but with a more contemporary red carpet spin.

How to unlock the Cat Holloway base Outfit

To get Cat herself, you first need access to the battle pass, then to direct your XP into her specific set.

Step 1: Purchase the Chapter 7 Season 1 battle pass from the in-game Battle Pass tab. This is the same pass that also grants The Bride, Miles Cross, and the rest of the season’s skins.

Step 2: Level your account to at least level 5 in Chapter 7 Season 1. Below that threshold, you cannot choose individual reward sets.

Step 3: In the Battle Pass interface, select the Cat Holloway reward set once it becomes available as one of your options. This “locks in” your current XP spending path.

Step 4: Play matches and earn XP until you have enough battle stars (or their current equivalent) to claim every reward on page 1 of the Cat Holloway set. That first page typically contains a loading screen, back bling, pickaxe, and smaller cosmetics.

Step 5: After taking every item on page 1, claim the Cat Holloway Outfit. She becomes usable immediately in Battle Royale and any other mode that supports current-season skins.

How to unlock the Silver Screen Cat style

Silver Screen Cat is Cat Holloway’s second style and stays within the same set; it is purely battle pass progression, no external modes required.

Step 1: With the base Cat Holloway Outfit already unlocked, continue directing XP into her set until page 2 opens. This happens once every item on page 1 is claimed.

Step 2: Claim each cosmetic on page 2 of the Cat Holloway set. These are typically themed around her more polished, premiere-ready look.

Step 3: Once every reward on that second page is claimed, the Silver Screen Cat style unlocks. You can then swap to it from the Locker by editing the Cat Holloway Outfit’s style options.

Silver Screen Cat tends to be the “premium” look most players will use early in the season, because it’s reachable purely through XP and does not require branching into other modes or finishing the whole pass.

How to unlock the Media Blitz Cat style (Blitz Royale quests)

Media Blitz Cat ties Cat Holloway directly into Blitz Royale, one of Fortnite’s side playlists for Chapter Seven. Unlike Silver Screen Cat, you cannot unlock this variant just by grinding the main battle pass pages.

Step 1: Wait until the Blitz Royale quests for Cat Holloway go live. These unlock on Thursday, Dec. 4 at 9 a.m. EST.

Step 2: Open the Quests tab and switch to the Blitz Royale category. Look for a chain specifically labeled for Cat Holloway or for Media Blitz–related rewards.

Step 3: Queue into Blitz Royale matches and work through the listed objectives. These quests are designed for the Blitz ruleset, so expect faster circles and higher-pressure matches compared with standard Battle Royale.

Step 4: After completing the required Blitz Royale quests, claim the Media Blitz Cat style from the rewards screen. It becomes another selectable style toggle for Cat in your Locker.

Media Blitz Cat is part of a wider pattern for the Season. Three Outfits have mode-specific bonus styles:

  • Cat Holloway – extra style via Blitz Royale quests
  • Carter Wu – extra style via Reload quests
  • Dark Voyager (Reality Redacted) – extra style via Battle Royale quests

Epic is effectively using these cosmetics to drive players into each of the chapter’s marquee modes: Golden Coast Battle Royale, Reload, and Blitz Royale.

How to unlock the Incognito Cat style (full battle pass completion)

Incognito Cat sits in the same bucket as several other “ultimate” variants this Season. It is locked behind complete battle pass clearance rather than a single set or questline.

Step 1: Progress through Chapter 7 Season 1 until you have unlocked every reward in every battle pass set. That includes all Outfit sets (The Bride, Cat Holloway, Kingston, Carter Wu, Carina, Marty McFly, Miles Cross, Dark Voyager) and their associated pages.

Step 2: Once the pass is fully cleared, head to the Bonus Rewards or completion section. Incognito Cat appears there as Cat Holloway’s final style.

Step 3: Claim Incognito Cat and equip it in the Locker. It becomes a permanent part of Cat’s style rotation for the rest of the chapter and beyond.

Other characters receive similar end-of-pass variants, such as Slap Surfer Kingston, Punky Parkour Carina, Dare Devil Carter, Superstar Miles Cross, and Void Voyager (Reality Redacted). Incognito Cat essentially marks you as someone who took this season’s Hollywood theme all the way to the credits.

How Cat Holloway connects to the wider Pacific Break season

Cat Holloway isn’t just a standalone character; she’s part of the broader Pacific Break framing for Chapter Seven. The new Golden Coast map swaps out the traditional drop-in for Storm Surfing, and the named locations lean into sun-soaked Hollywood and coastal chaos: Battlewood Boulevard, Sandy Strip, Wonkeeland, Humble Hills, Bumpy Bay, Classified Canyon, Sus Studios, Ripped Tide, Tiptop Terrace, and Fore Fields.

The battle pass itself mirrors that mash-up of blockbuster cinema and local celebrity:

  • The Bride and Marty McFly handle the big-name film crossovers.
  • Cat Holloway, Miles Cross, Kingston, Carter Wu, and Carina are original characters built around stunts, action movies, skating, and surf culture.
  • Dark Voyager (Reality Redacted) pulls in long-running Fortnite lore with cube variants and an extra style earned purely through Battle Royale quests.

Epic also layered in mechanical changes that shape how you’ll actually show off these skins: wingsuits for long glides, more expressive hitmarkers, jump-shot aiming, and an emote wheel expanded from six to eight slots so runway emotes like Cat’s can sit alongside Jam Tracks and other animations.

Cat Holloway ends up as one of the season’s best examples of how Fortnite now splits progression across multiple modes and reward tracks. If you just want a new skin, clearing her first battle pass page is enough. If you want the full media arc from “up-and-coming lead” through blitzed-out coverage to incognito superstar, you’ll need to juggle Battle Royale, Blitz Royale quests, and full-season completion. For players who plan to live on the Golden Coast all season anyway, she’s an easy character to build a whole locker around.
