Crimson Desert's Hidden Blade Gloves — Finding the Crimson Chaser Chain in Demeniss

Crimson Desert's Hidden Blade Gloves — Finding the Crimson Chaser Chain in Demeniss

Crimson Desert hides a pair of gloves that will immediately remind you of the iconic wrist-mounted blade from the Assassin's Creed franchise. The Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves conceal a dagger within the sleeves, and they come with genuinely useful combat stats. Getting them takes a bit of travel, some guard-dodging, and one specific ability you might not think to use indoors.

Quick answer: Travel to the village of Demeniss, find the tall round-shaped building near a statue, deal with or sneak past the guards, then use Force Palm inside the building to reach the treasure chest on the upper floor.

Where to find the Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves in Demeniss

The gloves are located in Demeniss, a village that sits a considerable distance from Hernand. If you have already unlocked a fast travel point near the city, getting there is straightforward. Without one, expect a trek of roughly 3 km or more from your camp. On the in-game map, look toward the northern part of Demeniss for a distinctive round building with a straw roof that stands slightly taller than the surrounding structures. A statue is visible near the building, which serves as a reliable landmark.

The area around the building is patrolled by guards. You have two options: slip past them without being detected, or fight your way through. Neither approach affects your ability to loot the chest inside, so choose whichever suits your playstyle or current gear level.

Reaching the treasure chest with Force Palm

Once you enter the round building, the treasure chest is not on the ground floor. It sits on a raised wooden platform on the upper level, and there is no ladder or staircase leading up to it. The game expects you to use a specific movement trick to reach it.

Step 1: Stand beneath the upper-floor platform and press the jump button to leap upward.

Step 2: While airborne, activate the Force Palm ability. This launches you higher than a normal jump. As you reach the height of the wooden floor above, your character will latch onto the edge and pull up.

Step 3: Open the treasure chest on the platform. The Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves are inside.

If you haven't unlocked Force Palm yet, you won't be able to reach this chest. Make sure the ability is available before making the trip to Demeniss.

Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves stats

Beyond the visual appeal of a sleeve-hidden dagger, the gloves carry solid numbers that make them worth equipping in combat, not just wearing for style.

Stat Value
Attack 16
Defense 10
Ice Resistance Lv. 1
Refinement 3
Sell Price 6.01 Silver

The 16 Attack paired with 10 Defense makes these gloves a well-rounded option for the point in the game when you can realistically reach Demeniss. The Ice Resistance is a minor bonus, and the Refinement value of 3 means there is room to upgrade them further at a crafting station.

How to confirm you got them

After opening the chest, the Crimson Chaser Chain Gloves appear in your inventory under your equipment tab. Equip them and you will see the hidden dagger animation tucked into the sleeve, closely resembling the hidden blade design fans of Assassin's Creed will recognize. The stat changes apply immediately once equipped, so you can verify the Attack and Defense boosts in your character sheet right away.

These gloves are a one-time loot from this specific chest, so there is no need to return to the location. If you are collecting all of Crimson Desert's secret gear pieces, Demeniss is worth exploring thoroughly while you are in the area.
