How to redeem Destiny Rising codes in-game
Step 1: Launch Destiny Rising, log in, and play until you have control of your character and access to the main HUD. The redeem option only appears after you finish the prologue.
Step 2: Tap or click the settings gear icon in the corner of the screen to open the Settings menu.
Step 3: In Settings, scroll through the tabs and select the Other tab.
Step 4: Press the Redeem button. This opens the Exchange Reward redemption window.
Step 5: Enter the code exactly as shown into the text field. Codes are not case-sensitive, but extra spaces or typos will cause an error.
Step 6: Select Exchange to confirm. If the code is valid and your account has not used it before, the reward is credited immediately to your account inventory or mailbox.
How to confirm a Destiny Rising code worked
After you select Exchange, a successful redemption shows a confirmation message and the reward is delivered at once. Lumia Leaves are added to your premium currency balance, while items such as Random Decal Bundles, Ascension Cells, Upgrade Cores, and chests appear in the relevant inventory sections or in-game mailbox.
Why a Destiny Rising code may not work
If a code fails, the game usually displays one of a few standard messages:
- Expired or usage cap reached – the time window has closed or the maximum number of redemptions has already been used.
- Already redeemed – your account has claimed that code before; each code is one-time per account.

Event-related Destiny Rising codes and cross-game rewards
Some Destiny Rising codes are tied to limited events. During the Bear the Light event, completing its objectives grants a unique redeem code that is not entered in-game but on the official Bungie code redemption page at https://www.bungie.net/7/en/codes/redeem. Redeeming that event code unlocks the Starboard Forward emblem in Destiny 2, which then appears under the Flair Collections section of that game.
How Destiny Rising invite codes differ from redeem codes
Destiny Rising also uses invite codes as part of the Spreading Light event. These invite codes are entered on the event tab by selecting the Bind option and pasting a friend’s code into the dialog box. Both players then receive event-related rewards. Once a character reaches Team Level 20, the option to bind a new invite code is no longer available.
