What you get: Hear what someone nearby says, translated into your language through your AirPods. You can also show them your translated reply on your iPhone or play it aloud.
Step 1: Put on your supported AirPods and confirm they’re connected. Verify Apple Intelligence is on, and your two languages are downloaded.
Step 2: Open the Translate app on iPhone and tap Live. Set “Their Language” and “Your Language.” Keep this screen handy if you plan to show transcripts.
Step 3: Start translation in one of three ways: press and hold both AirPods stems together; say, “Siri, start Live Translation”; or tap Start Translating in the Live tab.
