Every confirmed Wonder Weapon in Black Ops 7 Zombies (launch)
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7The launch lineup is small and focused: Ray Gun, Ray Gun Mark II, and a new melee‑range hybrid called the Necrofluid Gauntlet.

Black Ops 7’s first round-based Zombies map, Ashes of the Damned, ships with three Wonder Weapons. Two are series staples. One is brand new and designed to work both at arm’s length and from across a lane. Here’s the full list and what’s actually confirmed about each.
Black Ops 7 Zombies Wonder Weapons (confirmed at launch)
Wonder Weapon | Status | Confirmed capabilities |
---|---|---|
Ray Gun | Returning classic | Included in the launch pool for Zombies. |
Ray Gun Mark II | Returning classic | Included in the launch pool for Zombies. |
Necrofluid Gauntlet | New for BO7 | Melee and ranged attacks; fires spikes to skewer targets at distance; can pull items and Power-Ups toward you. |

Necrofluid Gauntlet: what it is and how it works
The Necrofluid Gauntlet is a fanged, black glove with a sickly green glow and vein-like channels running through it. It’s designed to be lethal up close but also useful in open space. The gauntlet can:
- Strike in melee for immediate crowd control.
- Launch hard-hitting spikes that pin targets at range.
- Attract items and Power-Ups from a distance so you don’t have to risk crossing a lane to collect them.
That mix makes it a rare hybrid among Wonder Weapons: mobility-friendly, lane-safe, and still able to bail you out when a train closes in.

Ray Gun and Ray Gun Mark II: the staples return
Both the Ray Gun and the Ray Gun Mark II are confirmed in the launch Mystery Box pool. They’ve anchored Zombies loadouts across multiple eras, and their inclusion here means you’ll have reliable high-end options while you learn Ashes of the Damned’s routes, doors, and timings.
Note: There are no additional variants or elemental versions confirmed for launch beyond these two returning options.
How these fit into Ashes of the Damned
Ashes of the Damned is pitched as the largest round-based Zombies map in the series to date, stitched together by thick fog and multiple points of interest. Several launch features shape how you’ll use Wonder Weapons here:
- Ol’ Tessie, the “Wonder Vehicle,” provides on-map transport between distant areas and can be upgraded; you’ll still need to repair it if you push it too hard.
- Wisp Tea is a new Perk that, once charged by zombie kills, summons a short-lived companion to harass nearby enemies.
- Fire Works returns as an Ammo Mod, giving bullets a chance to spawn seeking fireworks that damage enemies around the impact.
In that context, the Necrofluid Gauntlet’s range pull can be a quiet difference-maker, letting you vacuum up Power-Ups without breaking your line or abandoning the truck between stops.

What’s not confirmed
At launch, the lineup stops at three: Ray Gun, Ray Gun Mark II, and Necrofluid Gauntlet. No other Wonder Weapons are listed for Ashes of the Damned, and there’s no official detail on map-specific upgrades for the returning guns. Survival maps also return in Black Ops 7, but their Wonder Weapon pools at launch haven’t been detailed beyond the core set above.
Black Ops 7 opens with a compact Wonder Weapon set built around a single new idea — a living gauntlet that closes gaps in a big map — and the two classics that have defined the mode. If you want novelty on day one, start your box spins with the gauntlet in mind.
