Abyss on Roblox hides 15 rubber Ducks across its underwater world, and collecting every single one is the only way to open Bob's secret door near the Forgotten Dome. The reward is access to two of the strongest end-game items in the game — the Plunger Gun and the Bath Tube — so the scavenger hunt is well worth the oxygen.
Quick answer: Collect all 15 Ducks spread across the Forgotten Deep (3), Ocean (2), Morveth's Cave (2), Ancient Sands (3), Spirit Roots (3), and Angler Cave (2), then return to Bob's secret door behind Virelia to unlock his shop.
How to start the Duck quest
From the Forgotten Dome spawn area, walk past Virelia toward the tall rock formation behind her. A hidden door is embedded in the rock. Knock on it repeatedly until an NPC named Bob peers through and tells you he needs 15 Ducks before he'll let you inside. There is no formal quest marker — Bob simply tracks how many Ducks you've picked up, and you can collect them in any order.
Forgotten Deep — 3 Ducks
Duck 1 — Blue shipping container
Near the spawn point, find the dark blue shipping container where Billy (the storage-upgrade NPC) is leaning. The door is tight, so shimmy sideways to squeeze through. The Duck is sitting inside on the floor.

Duck 2 — Developer table tree
Walk left past the Harpoon vendor until you reach the table occupied by the Abyss developer NPCs. A tree stands directly behind them. Look up into the branches and you'll spot the Duck perched there — climb the tree to grab it.

Duck 3 — Rock formation near Virelia
Head to the rock formation where Bob's secret door is located (south-southeast of the Forgotten Dome). Climb to the top of that same structure. A Duck and a treasure chest are both waiting up there.

Ocean — 2 Ducks
Duck 4 — Behind the Diver NPC
The Diver NPC with the submarine gives delivery quests in the Ocean area. Swim past him and check the small hill directly behind his position. The Duck is sitting on the rock formation there, and the depth is shallow enough that no special Tube is required.
Duck 5 — Southeast edge of the map
Travel to the far southeast corner of the Ocean, near the Lost Captain's shipwreck area. A Duck is placed at this map boundary. You may need a decent Tube depending on how deep you dive to reach it.

Morveth's Cave — 2 Ducks
Note: Reaching Morveth's Cave requires significant oxygen. Equip the Boat Tube (purchased from Marcus in Ancient Sands) before attempting these two Ducks.
Duck 6 — Waterfall chest
Inside Morveth's Cave, locate the small waterfall on the right side. Jump over the rocks and climb the steps to the top. Open the treasure chest there, and the Duck is hidden directly behind it.

Duck 7 — Ledge overlooking Morveth
From the waterfall, turn 180 degrees. You'll see a climbable wall between the pond and the cave entrance with flowing water. Scale it all the way to the top to find another treasure chest and a Duck sitting beside it.
Ancient Sands — 3 Ducks
Ancient Sands sits at roughly 240 meters deep. You need either the Boat Tube or a supply of Oxygen Pods to explore safely. Crazy Jeff's Store is a cave, so your oxygen restores once you step inside — use it as a refill station between Duck runs.
Duck 8 — Crazy Jeff's Store
Enter Jeff's cave shop and head to the back. The Duck is hiding behind a pillar to the right of Jeff, near a radio. It's easy to miss if you don't circle behind the counter.

Duck 9 — Grumpy Hank's tower
Past Crazy Jeff's Store, a tower stands to the left of the main path. Climb the ladders inside to reach the top, where Grumpy Hank lounges on a couch. The Duck is wedged between the couch and some crates. Your oxygen won't drain here, but it won't refill either — top off at Jeff's first.

Duck 10 — Crab Cave
Below Grumpy Hank's tower, descend to the left until you find a cave entrance at the far southwest edge of Ancient Sands. Follow the corridor all the way to the end. The Duck is at the back alongside some chests and the Crab Scroll needed for a separate quest.
Spirit Roots — 3 Ducks
Spirit Roots is the deepest standard region in Abyss, requiring Tubes rated for 375–460 meters (the Rukiry Tube or Zepline Tube). Stock up on consumables before heading down.
Duck 11 — Behind Victor's shop
Inside the main Spirit Roots cave, find Victor's shop. The Duck is at the back of his area. Reaching it requires completing the associated questline and fully reviving the Spirit Root tree, so plan accordingly.

Duck 12 — Golem's Cave
Exit the main cave and take a hard right. Swim until you reach a large cave mouth. Inside, two paths branch off — take the left one. Near the end of the corridor, a smaller cave opens on the left. Enter it to find the Golem NPC, a treasure chest, and the Duck sitting beside him. The entire passage is oxygen-neutral, meaning you leave with the same amount you entered with.

Duck 13 — Far edge of Spirit Roots
At the far end of the Spirit Roots map, near a rock-blocked area that may open in a future update, a Duck sits on a ledge above the barrier. Look up and climb to collect it.

Angler Cave — 2 Ducks
Reaching Angler Cave requires completing the Lost Captain's full quest chain. The Lost Captain is found at his shipwreck site far east of the Kraken in the Forgotten Deep. Finishing his quests unlocks a gate behind the ship that leads into the cave.
Duck 14 — Behind the Lightkeeper
Once inside Angler Cave, find the Lightkeeper NPC. Walk around his stall to the back and pick up the Duck sitting directly behind him.

Duck 15 — Middle pillar crevice
Continue deeper into Angler Cave. In the middle of the main room, a Duck is tucked into a small crevice in the central rock pillar, with a treasure chest nearby. Check between the two large rocks to spot it.

Rewards from Bob's Door
Once all 15 Ducks are in your inventory, return to the secret door behind Virelia and knock again. Bob opens up and grants access to his hidden shop, where two items are for sale.
The Plunger Gun costs 235,000 currency and deals 420 damage with a 2.3-second cooldown and 0.85 control. It has the highest raw damage of any gun in Abyss, competing directly with the Lost Spirit Gun and Ruined Gun — though those alternatives offer shorter cooldowns.
The Bath Tube is also available inside Bob's room. If you're short on cash, prioritizing the Bath Tube first is generally the stronger play, since better oxygen capacity opens up more of the map for farming and exploration.
Collecting all 15 Ducks is a one-time effort per save, and there's no time limit or order requirement. Grab the easy ones in the Forgotten Dome first, gear up progressively through Ancient Sands and Spirit Roots, and save the Angler Cave pair for last once the Lost Captain's quest chain is done.
