Fortnite Festival teases Daft Punk, with The Weeknd possibly involved
NewsLeaks point to “Get Lucky” and “One More Time” and Daft Punk‑themed cosmetics, but Epic hasn’t announced a date.

A new Fortnite teaser points to a Daft Punk–focused Festival event, and fans have spotted a brief nod to The Weeknd in the clip.
The crossover is expected to sit inside Fortnite Festival, the rhythm mode that has hosted major artists in recent seasons. Early details suggest a music-forward feature set, with tie-in cosmetics, but the rollout hasn’t been formally detailed.
Release date and start time
Epic hasn’t shared a date or start time. The current teaser shows Drift uncovering something in the snow, but no schedule accompanies the footage. Expect timing to remain fluid until Epic publishes its event specifics.
Songs and cosmetics expected
Two Daft Punk tracks are being positioned to headline the event, alongside themed items:
- “Get Lucky”
- “One More Time”
- Daft Punk–inspired cosmetics (not yet confirmed by Epic)
Epic has not announced skins or bundles tied to the crossover.
The Weeknd’s involvement
The Weeknd’s Combat Skin makes a brief appearance in the teaser, and the artist has reposted the clip, fueling speculation that he’ll feature in some capacity. This would build on his prior Fortnite presence in Chapter 5’s Icon Series, which included multiple outfits and Jam Tracks such as “Blinding Lights” and “Save Your Tears.”
Recent music collaborations in Fortnite
The Daft Punk rumor follows a steady run of music-driven crossovers. Last month, Epic rolled out Gorillaz with character skins and tracks including “Clint Eastwood” and “Feel Good Inc.” Other additions this year include Sabrina Carpenter and T‑Pain, and there’s also chatter around a potential “Kpop Demon Hunters” collaboration.
Fortnite’s Festival lineup continues to expand, but until Epic publishes event details, Daft Punk’s timing and the scope of The Weeknd’s role remain unconfirmed.
