Fortnite Power Hour Countdown (February 21) — Here's Every Time Zone Covered

Fortnite's Love and Legends event has been running special Power Hour sessions every Saturday in February, and the third — and likely final — session lands on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 3:30 PM ET. Like the previous two sessions, this one lasts exactly 60 minutes, so you need to be logged in and ready when the clock starts.

Quick answer: The February 21 Power Hour begins at 3:30 PM ET (12:30 PM PT / 8:30 PM GMT) and runs until 4:30 PM ET. A follow-up session takes place on Sunday, February 22, at 10:00 AM ET.

Start time: Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 3:30 PM ET / 8:30 PM GMT

February 21 Power Hour start times by region

Sunday follow-up session on February 22

Epic has been running a second Power Hour on Sundays for players who miss the Saturday window. The February 22 session is scheduled for 10:00 AM ET (7:00 AM PT / 3:00 PM GMT). The gameplay changes are identical to the Saturday event, but the earlier time slot tends to produce less competitive lobbies for Western players — worth noting if you're chasing rewards rather than high-kill games.

Gameplay changes for the February 21 and 22 Power Hours

This weekend's Power Hour departs from the Valentine's Day session in a few notable ways. The heart-shaped storm from earlier in the month is gone, replaced by rectangle-shaped storm circles. That shift changes rotation strategy significantly — rectangular zones create longer, narrower safe areas that funnel players into tighter corridors.

Every player drops in with a Legendary Arc-Lightning Gun already in their inventory. It's a potent weapon right off the spawn, so expect early fights to be chaotic. You'll also start with a Self-Revive Device, giving you one chance to pick yourself back up after getting knocked in team modes.

Two random POIs in each match will be designated as Legendary locations, featuring a higher concentration of Rare Chests. Marking these spots on your map as you rotate is a smart move, since the loot density there will be noticeably better than anywhere else on the island.

Rewards and XP during Power Hour

Power Hours deliver boosted XP rates, which makes them one of the fastest ways to grind through the Battle Pass and the Heartcore Music Pass during the Love and Legends event. You can also earn Candy Hearts by securing eliminations, looting Rare Chests, opening Supply Drops, and defeating bosses. Candy Hearts contribute toward unlocking the Heartie Back Bling, a free cosmetic reward tied to the Love and Legends event. To earn Candy Hearts, you need to play in Duos, Trios, or Squads — solo matches won't count toward that particular unlock.

February Power Hour schedule recap

The Love and Legends roadmap included three Saturday Power Hours across the month. The February 7 and February 14 sessions have already concluded. The February 21 session is the last confirmed Saturday Power Hour for this event cycle. Each Saturday session shared the same 3:30 PM ET start time, with Sunday follow-ups at 10:00 AM ET.

No official date has been confirmed for additional Power Hours beyond this weekend. If Epic extends the format into March or ties it to a new seasonal event, that information will come through the in-game dashboard countdown or the official Fortnite community posts. For now, February 21 and 22 represent your last shot at the Love and Legends Power Hour experience.
