The Reliquary of Faith sits at the southern tip of the map in Oshima Coast and is available the moment you enter the region. It’s one of the trickier reliquaries, but with the correct statue sequence you can clear it in under a minute.

Find the Reliquary of Faith (Oshima Coast)

After the introductory cutscene in Oshima Coast, head left as soon as you regain control. Follow the narrow path up to the hillcrest; the reliquary stands at the top. A golden bird may guide you there, but you can reach it quickly by sticking to the left-hand path from the entry point.

Reliquary of Faith puzzle solution (statue orientation)

The inscription points to looking “to the true mountain for strength.” The mechanism here is simple but interlinked: rotating a side statue affects the center, and rotating the center affects both sides. With that in mind, you can ignore the left statue entirely and bounce between the middle and right to force all three to face outward.

Step 1: Rotate the middle statue once. This shifts both sides together and sets up the loop you need.

Step 2: Rotate the right statue once. Turning a side nudges the middle, bringing the trio closer to alignment.

Step 3: Rotate the middle statue again. The center move adjusts both sides simultaneously.

Step 4: Rotate the middle statue one more time. All three statues will now face outward, completing the riddle.

Rewards for completing the Reliquary of Faith

Clearing this reliquary contributes to the “Child of the Mountain” trophy if it’s the last one you finish. It also grants the Yotei’s Blessing attire dye for the Mercenary Outfit, featuring a brown lower half with a blue and white top styled after the mountain. Reliquaries can be completed in any order; the dye won’t be usable until all five are done.

This reliquary also advances the Charm of Mount Yotei. If this completes the full set of reliquaries, the charm provides moderate damage reduction and restores a large chunk of health on a perfect parry.

That’s the Reliquary of Faith wrapped up. If you’re chasing the full set, keep the same methodical approach—every reliquary builds toward a stronger charm and a clean trophy pop at the end.
