Hollow Knight: Silksong beta update adds Dualsense Edge support and key fixes
NewsThe interim patch on Steam’s public-beta branch improves controller support and resolves several late‑game bugs ahead of Patch 3.

Team Cherry has pushed an interim Hollow Knight: Silksong update to the game’s public-beta branch on Steam, adding broader controller support and a round of targeted fixes ahead of the next full patch.
The studio says more changes will land before Patch 3 rolls out widely. In its public-beta branch post, the developer wrote:
“While work on Silksong’s third patch continues, an interim update is now live on the public-beta branch. This includes a few fixes that players may want to access, including some additional controller support and improvements.”
New features in the beta update
This build focuses on controller compatibility and quality-of-life behavior:
- Added support for Dualsense Edge controllers.
- Improved support for various controllers on Mac.
- The game now pauses automatically when a controller disconnects.
