Apple released the iOS 11.4 update yesterday along with updates for HomePod and tvOS 11.4 update. While iOS 11.4 has been reported to be working fine, users are reporting issues with HomePod and Apple TV 11.4 update.

As per a user who updated his HomePod to 11.4 and Apple TV to tvOS 11.4, the devices aren’t working as expected anymore. The HomePod is not working for some apps like YuppTv, Crossy Roads and few other games, while Netflix, YouTube and all Apple apps are working fine.

After updating HomePod, there’s no audio output for some apps and games which worked perfectly fine before installing the 11.4 update.

We believe it’s a compatibility issue, and the app developers need to update their apps to support the new software version rolling out to HomePod and Apple TV users.
