How to redeem How to Train Your Dragon codes
Codes can only be redeemed inside the Roblox experience once you reach Dragon Rider level 2. They are not entered on the Roblox website.
Step 1: Start How to Train Your Dragon on Roblox and play until your Dragon Rider level reaches 2. Codes are locked before this point.
Step 2: Once you are level 2 or higher, look at the top of your screen and find the DNA or settings button that opens the codes menu. In some versions this appears as a DNA icon, in others as a settings button with a “Codes” option.
Step 3: Open the codes window and locate the text field usually labeled with placeholder text like ABCDEF.
Step 4: Carefully type or paste one working code from the table above into the box, matching the capitalization exactly.
Step 5: Press the Claim or Enter button shown next to the text field. If the code is active and correctly entered, a confirmation message appears and the items (such as coins, eggs, or Trait Rerolls) are added to your account immediately.
To redeem another code, repeat steps 3–5 with a different entry from the working list.
How to confirm a How to Train Your Dragon code worked
After pressing Claim, you can verify success in a few ways:
- You see an on-screen notification stating that the reward has been granted.
- Your relevant currency balance increases, for example Snoggletog Coins after using
SNOGGLETOGor Gems after usingGEMS. - New eggs or Trait Rerolls appear in the appropriate inventory menus.
If none of these changes appear, treat the code as failed and check the common issues below.
Why a How to Train Your Dragon code might not work
Failed redemptions usually come down to a small number of causes:
- Typo or wrong casing. Codes are case-sensitive. Extra spaces before or after the code, replacing a zero with the letter O, or using the wrong capitalization will cause an error. Copy–paste the code if possible.
- Already redeemed. Each code can be claimed only once on an account. If you used it previously, the game will respond as though the code is invalid.
- Level requirement not met. You must be at least Dragon Rider level 2 before the codes menu works. If you try earlier, the game can block redemption or not show the codes interface at all.
- Expired or removed. Codes can be deactivated without warning. If a code that used to work suddenly returns an error on multiple attempts, it has likely expired.
- Out-of-date server. Occasionally, a brand new code may only function on updated servers. Leaving the experience and rejoining can move you to a newer server where recent codes are recognized.
