How to redeem codes
Step 1: Start the HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON experience from its page on the official Roblox site and wait until your character loads into the world.
Step 2: Play through the opening quests until you reach Dragon Rider level 2; this unlocks the in-game code redemption feature.
Step 3: On the left side of the screen, open the main menu (or tap the DNA/codes icon in the upper-left corner, depending on your platform).
Step 4: Select the Codes option to bring up the redemption window, then click or tap the text box labelled with example text such as “ABCDEF.”
Step 5: Paste or carefully type one active code into the box, then press the Claim or confirm button and check your inventory for the new Gems, eggs, or Trait Rerolls.

Why codes might not work
- The code has expired and is no longer active; most event or celebration codes are only live for a limited time.
- There is a typo, extra space, or wrong capitalization; codes in Roblox experiences are case-sensitive.
- The code was already redeemed on your Roblox account; each code can usually be claimed only once per player.
- The game session is out of date or desynced; close How to Train Your Dragon, restart Roblox, and try redeeming again.
