Roblox hair codes are simply the numeric catalog IDs of hair accessories on the Roblox Marketplace. Entering these IDs in supported games or avatar editors lets you equip the exact hairstyle tied to that item.

How Roblox hair ID codes work

Every hair accessory on the Roblox Marketplace has a unique numeric ID embedded in its URL. For example, a catalog link such as https://www.roblox.com/catalog/2956239660/Belle-Of-Belfast-Long-Red-Hair uses 2956239660 as the hair code.

Some Roblox experiences and character editors ask directly for this numeric ID rather than showing a built-in list of hairs. In those cases you paste the ID into the hair field, confirm, and the game loads the associated hairstyle.

How to find a hair ID on the Roblox Marketplace

Step 1: Open the Roblox website on a browser and go to the Marketplace catalog. Set the category to Body or Accessories and then Hair so only hair items are displayed.

Step 2: Click the hairstyle you want. When the item page opens, look at the URL in the address bar. The long number between /catalog/ and the next slash is the hair’s ID. For example, in https://www.roblox.com/catalog/111659852841795/White-Black-Short-Grunge-Layered-Wolfcut, the code is 111659852841795.

Step 3: Copy only that numeric part. When a game or customization menu asks for a hair ID, paste the number into the input field and confirm.

Using hair IDs inside Roblox experiences

Some Roblox experiences provide in-game salons or customization menus that accept raw catalog IDs instead of fixed hair lists. An example is Peroxide, available at its official Roblox experience page, where the Shinigami Cuts salon in Karakura Town lets you enter any hair ID via the stylist NPC.

In other titles such as Slayerbound, the customization menu exposes one or more hair slots with fields where you paste IDs from the Marketplace. The game then layers those hairs, allowing mixed styles without needing to own the items on your main avatar.

In all of these systems, the success condition is straightforward: once the ID is accepted, the on-screen avatar preview updates to show the new hairstyle. If nothing changes or the game reports an error, recheck that you copied the numeric segment exactly and that you did not include extra characters, spaces, or slashes.

When you need a specific Roblox hairstyle, identify its catalog ID from the Marketplace URL, copy the numeric value, and use it wherever a hair ID field is available. The table above covers many of the most-used styles, so you can quickly equip them without hunting through the catalog each time.
