Solo Hunters runs on a small set of materials that control upgrades, rerolls, and resets. Each one has a fixed drop pattern and a narrow purpose, so knowing exactly what each material does prevents wasting gold or rare drops.

Gems (Powers/Abilities currency)
Gems are the only material used to summon new Powers and Abilities. They do not interact with upgrades, rerolls, or enchanting.
You gain Gems from four places: completing Daily Challenges, finishing Weekly Challenges, opening boss chests, and turning in NPC quests that pay out Gem rewards. Redeemable codes can also grant flat Gem bundles. Once added to your account, Gems appear in your currency UI and are consumed whenever you trigger an ability summon.

There is no gold conversion for Gems. If a redemption worked, the Gem count increases immediately and the summon interface lets you roll without any additional material.
Serpent Ore (Gold-only material)
Serpent Ore has one function: it converts directly into Gold.
Whenever a boss chest rolls Serpent Ore, it lands in your inventory as a stackable material. Selling it yields 1,000 Gold for every piece. There is no upgrade, crafting, or reroll interaction tied to Serpent Ore, so holding onto it only delays the Gold gain.

After selling, the Serpent Ore stack decreases and your Gold total increases by 1,000 per unit; no other UI changes are associated with it.
Powercell Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 (upgrade EXP items)
Powercells are the only materials that directly inject EXP into weapons and armor. Each tier has a fixed EXP value and a fixed Gold cost when you actually apply it.
Mechanics for all Powercells:
- Each use adds a fixed amount of upgrade EXP to one weapon or one armor piece.
- Each use also burns a fixed amount of Gold at the moment you apply it.
- Any tier can be sold directly to the Merchant for a fixed Gold amount instead of being used for EXP.
- All tiers drop from boss chests and Power Break portals, and all three can be bought from the Merchant.
Exact values:
- Tier 1: 300 EXP per use, 300 Gold consumed per use, sells for 1,000 Gold, costs 1,500 Gold to buy.
- Tier 2: 1,500 EXP per use, 1,500 Gold consumed per use, sells for 5,000 Gold, costs 7,500 Gold to buy.
- Tier 3: 7,500 EXP per use, 7,500 Gold consumed per use, sells for 25,000 Gold, costs 30,000 Gold to buy.
When an application succeeds, the chosen weapon or armor’s upgrade EXP bar increases by the tier’s full value, and your Gold count decreases by the listed consumption cost.

Basic, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic Scrolls (weapon Enchants)
Scrolls are the sole materials for applying Enchants to weapons. The four tiers differ by rarity and potential perk strength but share the same core behavior.
- Basic Scroll: lowest-tier Enchant roll; drops from any boss chest and any Power Break portal; can be bought from the Merchant for 600 Gold.
- Epic Scroll: mid-tier Enchant roll; drops from any boss chest and any Power Break portal; sold by the Merchant for 1,500 Gold.
- Legendary Scroll: high-tier Enchant roll; drops from any boss chest and any Power Break portal; sold by the Merchant for 7,500 Gold.
- Mythic Scroll: top-tier Enchant roll; drops only from Power Break portals; there is no Merchant listing for purchase in the current data.
All Scrolls are consumed during the Enchant operation. Once used on a weapon, they roll Enchant traits such as damage modifiers, Gold Gain, Loot Drops, or Crit-related perks in line with the scroll’s tier. If the Enchant resolves correctly, you see new or updated perk lines on the weapon tooltip, and the consumed Scroll is removed from your inventory.
Stat Crystal and Perfect Stat Cube (weapon stat rerolls)

Stat Crystal and Perfect Stat Cube are used only for rerolling the three numeric weapon stats: Damage, Crit Chance, and Range. They do not affect Enchant perks.
- Stat Crystal rerolls all three stats together. Every time you use one, Damage, Crit Chance, and Range are all replaced with a new random set.
- Perfect Stat Cube rerolls exactly one stat you choose. You can lock two stats and roll only Damage, only Crit Chance, or only Range.
Both items share the same sources: chest rewards from Red Gate bosses and any Power Break portal, plus direct purchase from the Merchant. Stat Crystals cost 7,500 Gold at the Merchant, while Perfect Stat Cubes cost 30,000 Gold.
On a successful reroll, the targeted stat or stats update immediately on the weapon card. The used Crystal or Cube disappears from your inventory, and any Gold cost tied to the reroll UI is deducted at the same time.
Magic Fruit (Skill Tree reset)
Magic Fruit is the only material that resets Skill Trees without spending Robux. It does not interact with stats, gear upgrades, or rerolls.
Magic Fruit is purchased from the Merchant for 30,000 Gold per unit. There are no dungeon or portal drops listed for this item. Each Fruit corresponds to a single Skill Tree reset, either for the M1 tree or the Abilities tree.

When a reset is triggered, one Magic Fruit is consumed and all points in the chosen Skill Tree are refunded back into that tree’s pool. The tree UI updates to show zero nodes selected and a full set of unspent points, confirming the reset worked.
Material sources by activity type
Each activity in Solo Hunters is tied to a predictable subset of materials.
| Activity | Materials that can drop / be earned |
|---|---|
| Daily Challenges | Gems. |
| Weekly Challenges | Gems. |
| NPC quests | Gems (typical quest rewards). |
| Boss chests (any gate) | Gems (chance), Serpent Ore, Powercell Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Basic Scroll, Epic Scroll, Legendary Scroll. |
| Red Gate boss chests | All standard boss chest materials plus Stat Crystal and Perfect Stat Cube. |
| Power Break portals | Powercell Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Basic Scroll, Epic Scroll, Legendary Scroll, Mythic Scroll, Stat Crystal, Perfect Stat Cube. |
| Merchant purchases | Powercell Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Basic Scroll, Epic Scroll, Legendary Scroll, Stat Crystal, Perfect Stat Cube, Magic Fruit. |
| Code redemption | Gems, reroll items, and stat resets, depending on the code content. |
When a material drop or purchase lands correctly, it appears in your inventory’s Materials section and, if relevant, unlocks the corresponding option in the upgrade, Enchant, reroll, or Skill Tree reset interfaces.
