The Mimic on Roblox adds a code system that lets you claim bonus Spirits and Revives, making it easier to unlock emotes and survive tougher chapters. Codes are entered inside the in-game lobby and usually arrive through the developer’s community channels.
All working The Mimic codes (January 2026)
Use the codes below exactly as written, including capital letters. Each one can only be redeemed once per account.
| Code | Reward | Status |
|---|---|---|
ChenooReturns |
2 Revives and 800 Spirits | Working |
Sorryforwait |
1,000 Spirits | Working |
SpookyMonth |
Spirits | Working |
Spirits are the game’s shop currency for emotes and other cosmetics, while Revives let you continue a run after dying, which is especially useful in harder modes or when learning new chapters.
Expired The Mimic codes
The in-game code system tracks expiry and will reject old codes. The following are no longer usable:
| Code | Reward | Status |
|---|---|---|
Sorryforwait |
1,000 Spirits | Expired |
4freelives |
4 Revive Credits | Expired |
SpookyMonth |
800 Spirits and 2 Revive Credits | Expired |
NetamoPossessedMe |
800 Spirits and 2 Revive Credits | Expired |
ChenooReturns |
800 Spirits and 2 Revive Credits | Expired |
Note: The game treats codes as case sensitive. Even an expired code must match its original capitalization to be recognized.
How to redeem codes in The Mimic
The Mimic has an in-lobby “CODES” area that handles all redemptions. You need to join the experience and walk up to it to enter any codes.
Step 1: Launch The Mimic on Roblox and wait for the lobby to load.
Step 2: Look for the yellow “CODES” circular aura in the Chapters Lobby, positioned between MUCDICH and Sythivo, and move your character into the circle.
Step 3: When prompted, press the E key to open the code entry window.
Step 4: Carefully type one of the working codes into the text box. Respect uppercase and lowercase letters.
Step 5: Press the Enter button on the screen to submit the code and receive the reward if the redemption is successful.
If the bottom text shows REDEEMED!, the reward was added to your account. Messages such as UNKNOWN CODE or ALREADY REDEEMED indicate that the code is invalid, expired, or already used on your profile.
Where The Mimic codes are released
The Mimic’s code system was introduced in the August 21, 2025 update and is managed directly by the developer persona MUCDICH. New codes and related hints are typically shared through a few key community channels:
- The Mimic’s Roblox experience page, including the description and update notes.
- The CTStudio Roblox group, which is used for broader studio announcements.
- The official The Mimic Discord server, where event news and time-limited rewards are often posted.
Codes are usually time-limited and often tied to events or updates, so they can expire within days or weeks. Checking those channels around new content drops or seasonal events helps you catch them before they are removed.
How The Mimic’s code mechanic works
The in-game code feature is treated as its own mechanic in The Mimic. It sits in the Chapters Lobby and offers a controlled way to hand out limited or exclusive items without changing core gameplay balance.
- Single-use per code: Each unique code can only be redeemed once per player account.
- Case sensitivity: The system requires exact capitalization. For example,
Sorryforwaitworks, but a variant with a lowercase “s” does not. - Clear status feedback: Entering an invalid or expired code shows “UNKNOWN CODE”, while reusing a valid one shows “ALREADY REDEEMED”.
- Reward types: Rewards so far have focused on Spirits and Revive Credits, which support cosmetics and survivability rather than raw power.
This approach lets the developer celebrate milestones or events with rewards, while keeping the main progression and chapter design centered on exploration, puzzles and survival mechanics such as keys, items and boss encounters.
How codes fit into The Mimic’s gameplay
The Mimic is a story-driven horror experience built around Japanese urban legends. Players work through multiple “Books” and chapters, using items and environmental clues to move forward while evading monsters.
Most progression comes from exploring, finding keys, solving small environmental tasks and managing limited tools. Items range from simple keys and collectibles to more complex pieces such as the Speaker used to distract Tsukiya, or seals drawn with the Inkwell to defeat bosses like Kutsu.
Within that structure, codes serve a narrow but useful role. Extra Spirits help unlock emotes that let you inject some levity into lobbies and runs, while free Revives offer a buffer when tackling harder modes like Jealousy or Control on higher difficulty. They do not replace the need to learn maps, patterns and item usage, but they can make repeated attempts less punishing.
The Mimic’s code system is straightforward once you know where the CODES circle is and how strict the case sensitivity can be. Keep an eye on the game’s official channels for new time-limited codes, and redeem them as soon as possible so you do not miss out on Spirits and Revives.
