How to redeem Where Winds Meet codes (PS5, PC, iOS, Android)

Codes are redeemed entirely in-game and work the same way on all platforms once you are past the tutorial and the fight against the Void King.

Step 1: Launch Where Winds Meet and log into the character you want to receive the rewards on. Wait until you are fully loaded into the open world.

Step 2: Open the main menu. On most platforms this is done via the menu button and then selecting the cog (settings) icon on the right side of the screen.

Step 3: In the settings screen, switch to the tab labelled “Other” or “Sonstige”. Under the “Account Info” heading, choose the option called “Exchange Code” or “Einlösecode”. This opens the Exchange Rewards window.

Step 4: Click or tap into the text box, then carefully type or paste one of the working codes. Confirm the entry as prompted. If the code is valid for your region and account, you will see a confirmation message.

Step 5: Close the settings and open your in-game mailbox. All redeemed rewards are delivered there instead of going straight to your inventory. Claim each mail, or use the “claim all” option if it is available.

Tip: On PC, copying codes from a list and pasting them into the Exchange Code box significantly reduces the chance of typos.

Why a Where Winds Meet code might not work

When a code fails, the game typically shows a brief error message. Common reasons are:

  • Expired or usage-capped code. Many promo codes only work for a limited time or up to a certain number of redemptions. Once that limit is reached, the game treats the code as invalid.
  • Region restrictions. Some campaigns are limited to specific regions or servers. If a code is locked to another region, it will not be accepted on your account.
  • Typographical errors. Letters and numbers are easy to mix up, especially in codes that contain both. Copy–paste if possible rather than entering them manually.
  • Already redeemed. Each promo code can normally be claimed once per account. Trying again on the same account will fail even if the code is still active overall.

Note: The game does not expose exact expiry dates for every promo, so a code can transition from working to expired without prior notice.

Avoiding common input mistakes with codes

Code strings in Where Winds Meet combine uppercase letters and numbers. Several characters are visually similar, which makes manual input error-prone.

  • Distinguish 0 (zero) from O (capital o).
  • Distinguish 1 (one), l (lowercase L), and I (capital i).
  • Distinguish 2 (two) from Z (capital z).

Tip: If you must type a code by hand, read it aloud as you enter it, paying attention to whether each character is meant to be a letter or a number.

Platforms and account eligibility for codes

Where Winds Meet supports shared promo campaigns across multiple platforms. The current promo codes are valid on:

  • PlayStation 5
  • PC (for example via Steam or the official launcher)
  • iOS devices
  • Android devices

Rewards are tied to the account you are logged into when you redeem the code, not to the specific device. If you use the same account on both PC and mobile, claiming the code once is enough; the items are then available on that account wherever you play.

Occasionally, Where Winds Meet grants free compensation items such as Resonating Melody directly through the in-game mailbox without any promo code. It is worth checking the mailbox regularly, especially after patches and maintenance, so that these direct gifts are not missed.
