Microsoft is rolling out Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26220.6780 (KB5067103) to the Dev Channel, adding dark mode to the classic Run dialog.
The update includes a mix of feature tweaks and fixes. Some changes will appear first for Insiders who enable the optional “get the latest updates” toggle in Windows Update, and then expand more broadly over time.
New features in Windows 11 build 26220.6780
The build brings a handful of small but notable improvements:
- Run dialog dark mode: the Run box now respects dark theme. Microsoft says this is on a “very slow rollout,” with wider availability planned over the next few flights.
- Click to Do (Preview): on Copilot+ PCs, visual cues now highlight key entities—such as emails and tables—when you launch the experience, making actions easier to discover.
- Administrator Protection: the option to enable Administrator Protection is available again in Windows Security under Account protection.
- OneDrive in Settings: a refreshed OneDrive icon is rolling out in Accounts and on Settings homepages.

Bug fixes in Windows 11 build 26220.6780
- Click to Do (Preview): fixed an issue where launching via the right-edge gesture on the primary display showed swipe visuals on the wrong display.
- Taskbar and system tray: resolved a problem where pressing WIN + number repeatedly didn’t cycle through an app’s windows as expected.
- File Explorer: addressed frequent crashes seen by some Insiders in the previous flight.
- Start menu: fixed unexpected scrolling to the top and a touch issue where the context menu dismissed immediately.
- Search: corrected cases where searches showed unexpected text instead of expected results and images.
- Other stability: an issue causing a large number of apps (including browsers) to crash in the previous flight should no longer reproduce.
Availability and rollout
Build 26220.6780 is available now in the Dev Channel. Features in this build are a mix of broad and gradual rollouts; enabling the “get the latest updates as soon as they’re available” toggle in Settings > Windows Update can surface some changes earlier. The dark Run dialog is specifically on a slow rollout and will expand to more Insiders in upcoming flights.
With the dark Run box and a slate of reliability fixes, Microsoft continues tightening Windows 11 ahead of broader testing in upcoming Dev flights.
