Wuthering Waves Version 3.1 included a short-lived set of livestream redemption codes alongside at least one longer-running promo code that is still usable in February 2026.

Version 3.1 livestream codes
The Version 3.1 Preview Special Broadcast for Wuthering Waves provided three limited-time codes, each granting 100 Astrite plus upgrade materials and credits. These codes were shared during the broadcast and were valid until January 25, 2026, 07:59 PT.

All three 3.1 preview codes are now expired and can no longer be redeemed in game.
How to redeem Wuthering Waves codes
Code redemption happens from inside the game client. There is no separate web redemption page for Wuthering Waves at the moment.
Requirement: Your account must be at least Union Level 2. Union Level increases by opening chests and completing quests.
Step 1: Log in and open the Terminal from the top-left of the screen to access the main menu.
Step 2: Select the Settings option.
Step 3: In Settings, open the Other or Other Settings tab and look for the Redemption Code field under the Account section.
Step 4: Press the Redeem button, enter the code exactly as shown (use only uppercase letters and no spaces), then confirm.
Step 5: Open your in-game Mail to claim the reward message that is sent automatically when the code is accepted.
You know the redemption worked when a new system mail arrives containing the listed Astrite, materials, or credits. If no mail appears and an error message is shown, the code is either mistyped, expired, already used on that account, or your Union Level is below the requirement.
Why 3.1 livestream codes no longer work
Wuthering Waves livestream codes are designed as short-window bonuses tied to a specific broadcast. For Version 3.1, the preview codes were announced as valid only until January 25, 2026, at 07:59 PT. After this time, the server stops accepting those strings, so attempts to redeem PAPERPLANE, WARMSUNLIGHT, or JOURNEYWELL now result in an expiration error.
For future versions, the pattern remains the same: three codes are usually shared during each preview, provide around 300 Astrite in total, and stay active only for a couple of days around the broadcast date.
How to check if a Wuthering Waves code is still valid
There is no in-game list of currently active promo codes, so the only definitive way to verify a string is to enter it through the Redemption Code field:
Step 1: Follow the redemption path in Settings and submit the code.
Step 2: Watch for the popup message. A successful redemption shows a confirmation and sends a mail with rewards. A failure shows a specific error such as “Code expired” or “Already redeemed”.
Each account can use a given promo code only once. If a code worked previously on the same account, later attempts will be rejected even if the code is still within its global validity window.
For now, WUTHERINGGIFT is the main ongoing promo code to claim extra Astrite and early-game materials during the Version 3.1 cycle, while the three preview broadcast codes have passed their redemption deadline.
