How to use a token (or Credits/KO Points) to unlock a champion
- Open the Champions tab from the main menu.
- Select the character you want.
- Choose the Unlock option and confirm. The game will spend a Champion Token first; if none are available, you can pay with Credits or KO Points.

Earning Credits efficiently
Credits come from matchmade games, tutorials, combo trials, and mission tracks. Typical mission payouts include:
- Daily missions: 250 Credits each (three dailies)
- Weekly missions: 750 Credits each (three weeklies)
This puts daily mission earnings in the hundreds, with weekly objectives adding larger chunks. Keep an eye on the 12,000 Credit cap—spend regularly to avoid losing rewards.
Seasonal champions and the Battle Pass
New champions arrive on a seasonal cadence. For the first three weeks of a season, the new champion can be unlocked with either a Champion Token or 1,000 KO Points. If you purchase the Ultra tier of the seasonal Battle Pass (3,500 KO Points), the seasonal champion is included during that season.
Starter Edition bundles (what’s inside)
Bundle | Champion Tokens | KO Points | Extras | Availability |
---|---|---|---|---|
Starter Edition | 4 | 2,000 | Player card | Through December 2026 |
Deluxe Starter Edition | 8 | 3,000 | Player card, avatar costumes | Through December 2026 |
There is also a higher-tier pack that includes Arcane skins, additional KO Points, and 8 tokens. If you plan to unlock most or all of the current locked roster quickly—and bank tokens for future releases—these bundles consolidate that spend.

If you just want to play a few mains online, the two free tokens from early tutorials plus mission-driven Credits will cover a couple of unlocks without cash. If you want the full slate immediately, tokens from Starter Editions are the direct route, and you can hold onto extras for the next season’s additions.
