Warwick brings a bruising rushdown style to 2XKO, built around relentless forward pressure, pouncing approach tools, and air-to-ground conversions. He’s a Zaun-born brawler who favors unpredictable angles—leaps, dives, and corner scrambles—backed by a unique resource called Bloodlust that unlocks stronger specials and additional cancel routes.
Warwick overview (archetype, resource, identity)
- Archetype: Rushdown
- Region: Zaun
- Signature resource: Bloodlust — when charged, Warwick gains unique specials and new cancel options.
- Playstyle: Teeth-and-claws pressure with sudden air entries, short hops into strike/throw threats, and corner chase-down.

Bloodlust: what it changes
Bloodlust is the switch that flips Warwick’s routing from linear pressure into burst mobility and mix. Two key changes when Bloodlust is active:
- Wrath of the Beast (Bloodlust variant of his forward special) becomes available.
- Aerial Primal Vault enables jump cancels directly into Primal Leap from midair, which then branches into multiple aerial follow-ups. The Aerial Vault cancel can come from normal jumps, jump-ins, and even during Blood Seeker or Spinning Slicer.
Practically, this means a standard air approach can pivot mid-flight into a targeted leap and immediate strike, snare, or chase option, letting Warwick alter timing and angle on demand.

Core specials and ground game
- Claws of the Beast (S1, hold OK): Fast pressure special; holding alters the timing and helps with frame traps or meaty pressure.
- Rage of the Beast (forward + S1, hold OK): Forward-moving pressure tool that can be canceled into Primal Leap under specific conditions.
- Wrath of the Beast (forward + S1, Bloodlust only): Bloodlust-powered version that extends routing and threat on contact.
- Ankle Swipe (down-forward + H): Low-profile strike that sets up Primal Leap routes on hit.
These moves form the backbone of his block pressure: push in with Rage/Claws, represent low with Ankle Swipe, then cash out with Leap routes or delay cancels once Bloodlust is active.

Mobility and air pressure (Leap tree, dives, and juggles)
Warwick’s mobility spikes when he accesses Primal Leap and its branches:
- Primal Leap (down + S1, hold OK): A targeted pounce that can be canceled into from specific specials, then split into aerial finishers:
- Pursuit (L, air only): Fast chase ender.
- Tear (M, air only): Striking option for consistent air hits.
- Snare (H, air only): Lockdown tool that pins for continued pressure.
- Feral Fang (S1, air only): Special-finisher variant from Leap.
- Aerial Primal Vault (up, Bloodlust only, air only): Cancel a jump into Primal Leap without touching the ground, enabling late, angle-changing entries.
- Spinning Slicer (S2, air only, press repeatedly): Multi-hit air series that extends time aloft and can feed into Aerial Vault when Bloodlust is on.
- Blood Seeker (down + S2): Grounded setup that can transition into jump-cancel sequences via Aerial Vault in Bloodlust.
- Savage Slashes (S2, press repeatedly): Rapid series for pressure or enders; distinct from the airborne S2.
- Feral Bite (forward + S2, can hit off the ground): OTG-capable bite to scoop knocked-down opponents.
- Feral Feast (forward + S1 + S2, can hit off the ground): High-commitment finisher with OTG capability.

Corner movement with Primal Climb
In and near the corner, Warwick adds a unique layer with Primal Climb (back, near corner; hold OK; air only). After latching on, he can branch into:
- Climb Pursuit (L, air only)
- Climb Rend (M, air only)
- Climb Snare (H, air only)
- Leap (forward, air only)
- Descend (down, air only)
The result is a short, looping threat tree that lets him feint a drop, re-approach at a new angle, or pin a cornered opponent who expects a conventional jump-in.

Assists for team setups
- Rage of the Beast Assist (T)
- Blood Seeker Assist (back + T)
- No Escape Assist (down + T)
Each assist mirrors a piece of his kit: forward pressure, ground control that feeds aerial routes, and a catch option that helps partners lock down evasive opponents.
Movelist quick reference
Note: Inputs use 2XKO’s in-game notation. L/M/H = light/medium/heavy; S1/S2 = specials; T = assist; “Hold OK” means the button can be held to alter timing/behavior.

Season 0 availability and unlock notes
Warwick arrives in Season 0 alongside Teemo. New seasons add a champion in their first three weeks with a reduced-cost unlock window through KO Points or a Champion Token; after three weeks, standard unlock costs apply. Season 0 does not include a Recruitment Event for bonus unlock paths. Check the in-game Store and Champions tab for current pricing and availability.

Known issues in patch 1.0.1 (Season 0)
- Handshake Tag during Spinning Slicer in Freestyle fuse can cause Warwick to “return to his home planet.” Avoid tagging out during midair S2 strings in Freestyle until a fix lands.
- Some Ankle Swipe (down-forward + H) into Primal Leap (down + S1) routes drop specifically on Yasuo, affecting consistency for that matchup.
If your team relies on those sequences, adjust by finishing with grounded enders instead of Leap branches when Yasuo is the target, and avoid Freestyle tag-outs during airborne S2.
Warwick is built to chase and maul—Bloodlust turns routine jump-ins and pressure into sudden angle changes that are hard to scout. Learn when to flip into Aerial Primal Vault, keep Feral Bite/Feast in your pocket for OTG scoops, and mind the current Season 0 quirks until they’re patched.
