99 Nights in the Forest has a small but important set of promo codes that grant free Diamonds (also called Gems) and event Candy. Diamonds are the premium currency used to unlock new Classes and reroll talents, while Candy is tied to limited-time events such as Halloween.

How to redeem codes in 99 Nights in the Forest (lobby method)

Standard codes such as afterparty are redeemed through the Diamonds shop in the main lobby.

Step 1: Launch 99 Nights in the Forest on Roblox and wait until you load into the matchmaking lobby (not an active night run).

Step 2: In the bottom-left corner of the screen, tap or click the diamond icon, or talk to the currency NPC. Both open the same Diamonds shop menu.

Step 3: In the Diamonds shop, select the blue Codes button, usually found at the lower-right of the panel.

Step 4: Type a working code such as afterparty into the input box, then press Submit.

Step 5: If the code is valid and unused, your Diamond total increases immediately. You can confirm this on the same screen or by checking your currency count in the lobby UI.

Tip: Codes are not case-sensitive, but they must be entered without extra spaces. Each code can be redeemed only once per account.

How to use the “yay fishing” code in 99 Nights in the Forest

The yay fishing code cannot be entered through the lobby Codes menu. It only works in an active run while you are fishing.

Step 1: Start a solo or multiplayer game from the lobby and play until you can upgrade the campfire to Level 2 (this is done by feeding it resources twice from Level 0).

Step 2: After reaching campfire Level 2, explore the expanded area until you find the Fishing Shack. Enter it and pick up an Old Rod.

Step 3: Go to any fishing hole, equip the Old Rod, and begin the fishing minigame.

Step 4: While the fishing minigame is active and the rod is in your hands, open the in-experience chat (default / key on keyboard).

Step 5: Type yay fishing exactly and send the message in chat.

Step 6: If the trigger conditions are met, two Diamonds drop near your character. They may land inside the fishing hole, so check the water if you do not see them on the ground.

Important points about yay fishing:

• It only works during an active game, not in the lobby.
• You must have a fishing rod equipped and be in the fishing minigame when you type it.
• It only grants the reward once per account.

How to tell if a 99 Nights in the Forest code worked

When a normal code is redeemed through the lobby Diamonds menu, a successful redemption immediately increases your Diamonds balance. Some clients also show a brief confirmation message near the code box. If the code is invalid or already used, you receive an error message instead and your balance does not change.

For yay fishing, the only confirmation is the appearance of two Diamond pickups at your feet. If nothing drops after you send the chat message, the code has either already been used or the trigger conditions were not met.

Why a 99 Nights in the Forest code might not work

When a code fails, it is usually for one of these reasons:

• Expired event code: Event-limited codes such as happyhalloween stop working once the event ends.
• Already redeemed: Each code can be used only once per account. Re-entering it shows an invalid or already-used error.
• Typing errors or extra spaces: Hidden spaces before or after the code, or small typos, cause the client to reject it.
• Wrong redemption method: Entering yay fishing in the lobby Codes box will not work; it only triggers during fishing with a rod equipped.
• Temporary client or server issues: Very rarely, a code may fail to validate due to connection or service problems. Trying again later can resolve this.

If a code that is known to be active still shows as invalid after careful re-entry and using the correct method, it has likely reached the end of its availability window and is no longer redeemable.

What 99 Nights in the Forest codes give you

Every known code falls into one of two reward types:

• Diamonds (Gems): Used to unlock new Classes and buy talent rerolls at the Class shop in the lobby, increasing your long-term power and flexibility.
• Event Candy: Used during limited-time events such as Halloween for event-specific rewards. When the event concludes, associated codes stop working.

Because Diamonds are otherwise earned slowly by surviving nights, opening chests, and reaching late milestones, using the working codes listed above is one of the most efficient ways to expand your Class roster early on.
