Palworld Dualith: What We Know Before Version 1.0 (July 10)

The two-in-one stone Pal arrives with Version 1.0, and its element, spawns, and breeding path aren't locked in yet.

The two-in-one stone Pal arrives with Version 1.0, and its element, spawns, and breeding path aren’t locked in yet.

Two Pals, one body. Dualith is a small glowing creature that took shelter inside a hulking stone golem and now drives it around Palpagos. It is one of the more unusual reveals for Palworld’s Version 1.0 update, and while it looks harmless from the front, the golem shell does the fighting. Here is what is confirmed, what is suspected, and how to prepare for it before launch.

Quick answer: Dualith becomes available when Palworld Version 1.0 goes live on July 10, 2026. It cannot be caught or bred before that date, and its exact spawns, element, and breeding combinations are not confirmed yet.

What Dualith is in Palworld

Dualith is a two-part Pal, which is exactly what the name suggests. The main body is a large, blocky stone golem covered in glowing blue-green markings. Tucked inside its chest cavity is a tiny glowing creature with a permanently worried little face, peeking out from behind the armor.

The concept is simple. Palpagos is dangerous for small Pals, so this one solved the problem by moving into an ancient golem and letting the heavy stone body handle everything else. Pocketpair framed it as a team-up, teasing that it has a “Cute face, serious muscle” and calling it “one of 1.0’s hardest workers.”

Dualith element type (suspected)

Pocketpair has not confirmed Dualith’s element. Grass is the leading theory, with Grass/Ground and Grass/Dark also being floated as possible dual typings. The stone build might push you toward assuming Ground, but the current expectation leans Grass first.

Note: Until the element is officially locked in, treat any type advice as provisional. The counters below assume the Grass typing holds.

Where to find Dualith

No spawn location has been confirmed. Teaser footage shows Dualith in what looks like a brand-new biome, full of dense vines, enormous trees, glowing purple plants, and a waterfall. If that area ships with Version 1.0, it is the most likely home turf.

If Dualith does turn out to be a Grass-type, the usual Grass habitats are worth checking once the update is live. Those include the North Bamboo Groves, Moonless Shore, and Windswept Hills.

How to beat Dualith

If the Grass typing is correct, Fire-type Pals are your safest bet, since Fire deals double damage to Grass. Suzaku, Ragnahawk, and Blazehowl are all strong picks to bring into the fight.

Dualith’s other weakness is its size. The large, blocky golem body is a much bigger target than most Pals, which makes it easy to land hits on. Pals with wide-area or rapid multi-hit skills should chip it down fast.

  • Bring Fire-type Pals for the type advantage against Grass.
  • Lean on AoE and multi-hit attacks to exploit the oversized hitbox.
  • Avoid Ground-type Pals if Grass is confirmed, since Grass hits Ground for super-effective damage.

If Dualith ends up as a Raid Boss, expect its difficulty and health pool to scale up considerably compared to a wild catch.

How to breed Dualith

Dualith’s breeding combinations are not available yet, because the Pal is not in the game until Version 1.0 arrives. Breeding in Palworld works off a hidden power value for each parent, where the game averages the two parents and picks the Pal closest to that number, so the exact parent pairings for Dualith can only be verified once its stats are live.

Confirmed parent pairs will be filled in after launch. Until then, the standard breeding tools cover every existing Pal.

Can Dualith be ridden?

Possibly. Data mining has surfaced what looks like a saddle tied to Dualith, which would make it a rideable Pal. Nothing about a mount or its gear recipe has been officially confirmed, so treat this as unverified until the update goes live.

For now, the memorable design and that nervous little face inside the golem are the main draws. The stats, spawn points, drops, and breeding path all unlock alongside Palworld Version 1.0 on July 10, 2026, and that is when Dualith can finally be caught, fought, and bred for real.
