All Kenny South Park quests in Fortnite, translated and explained

Kenny’s quests in Fortnite’s South Park: Born in Chaos event arrive as a wall of muffled text, but under the joke, there are six straightforward objectives. You only need four of them to earn a Memberberry and progress the Born in Chaos pass, but finishing all six gives extra Cred toward the free rewards track.

All Kenny quests in Fortnite and what they mean

Kenny’s Part 5 questline consists of six challenges. Each one grants 400 Cred, and any four completed will unlock that part’s Memberberry.

Kenny quest name What you actually have to do Reward
Mph mpphmmph Visit the zipline pylon at Battlewood Boulevard. 400 Cred
Mmmmpmpph mmhhmph Trigger a respawn using Kenny’s Respawn Token. 400 Cred
Mph mpmphh mmmph Be revived three times by a teammate. 400 Cred
Mphmmph mhhmmph Land 10 headshots on opponents. 400 Cred
Mmmh mpphh mmmph Travel 200 meters while airborne. 400 Cred
Mph mpph mhppmmph Hire a specialist NPC using Gold. 400 Cred

Nothing in this set is mechanically complex, but a few are much quicker if you approach them the right way. The sections below walk through each quest and provide a reliable way to complete it.

Mph mpphmmph – visit the Battlewood Boulevard zipline pylon

This is the simplest objective. You just need to stand at the correct tower in Battlewood Boulevard once.

Step 1: From the Battle Bus, drop toward Battlewood Boulevard and aim for the northern side of the POI. Look for a tall metal electrical-style pylon with a zipline running up it, sitting near the overpass around the second “o” in “Battlewood” on the map.

Step 2: Land near the base of the pylon and walk up to it. As soon as you get close enough, the quest progress will register. You do not need to ride the zipline for the objective to count, though you can use it to reposition or escape any early fights.

Mmmmpmpph mmhhmph – trigger Kenny’s Respawn Token

This quest is themed around Kenny’s habit of dying and coming back. The requirement is not just “die once” but to be automatically brought back by Kenny’s Respawn Token one time.

Step 1: Acquire a Kenny’s Respawn Token. It can drop as loot from blue chests or from crates inside Care Packages during the Care Packages Rift Anomaly event. Make sure the token is in your inventory before you take any intentional death.

Step 2: Once you have the token, put yourself in a lethal situation. You can either take a normal elimination from an enemy or quickly finish it by jumping from a tall structure or cliff. When your health is fully depleted while holding the token, it will automatically consume itself and respawn you on the spot.

Step 3: After the respawn animation completes, the quest will mark as finished and grant 400 Cred. You keep playing the same match, so you can chain this with other objectives, such as airborne distance.

Tip: If you plan your fall carefully, the drop that kills you can also add a large chunk toward the 200 meters airborne requirement for the “Mmmh mpphh mmmph” quest.

Mph mpmphh mmmph – get revived three times by teammates

This objective tracks standard revives from teammates across any number of matches. Kenny’s Respawn Token does not count, and self-revive tools do not help here.

Step 1: Queue into a mode with revives enabled, such as Duos, Trios, or Squads. If you don’t have a premade group, enable Fill so you are matched with teammates who can revive you from down-but-not-out (DBNO) state.

Step 2: Put yourself into DBNO near your teammates so they can safely revive you. Two fast ways are jumping from a high ledge so you down rather than instantly die, or standing under a closing garage shutter at a gas station so the door crushes you into DBNO in one hit. Communicate if you can, so teammates know you want the revive.

Step 3: Let your teammate complete the revive animation. Once you are back on your feet, that counts as one of the three required revives. Repeat the DBNO-and-revive loop two more times in the same or later matches. After your third successful revive, the quest completes and awards 400 Cred.

Note: Being fully eliminated and then brought back through reboot, or via Kenny’s Respawn Token, does not advance this specific objective. It has to be the standard revive while you are crawling.

Mphmmph mhhmmph – land 10 headshots

This quest tracks hits, not eliminations. Any headshot on an opponent that produces a headshot hitmarker will move the counter up, and it doesn’t need to be done in one match.

Step 1: Make sure headshot damage numbers are visible in your HUD so you can see when shots count. Equip weapons that are easy to control, like assault rifles or SMGs, rather than relying only on slow single-shot weapons.

Step 2: Seek out easier targets if you struggle landing headshots on other players. Boss NPCs and their henchmen also count as opponents and are far more predictable. Clear nearby henchmen first so you can safely circle-strafe the boss and line up repeated shots at the head hitbox.

Step 3: Aim for the downed players’ heads as well. Shots to a DBNO opponent still increment headshot progress, and they cannot dodge as easily. Continue stacking headshots across matches until you reach 10 total; the quest then completes for 400 Cred.

Mmmh mpphh mmmph – travel 200 meters while airborne

Here you are measured on horizontal distance covered in the air, not height. The game accumulates your airborne meters over multiple matches, whether you are jumping, falling, gliding, or riding aerial transport.

Step 1: Use obvious movement tools. Hot air balloons that travel set routes around the island are one of the easiest options. Wait at their flag icons on the map, board when they arrive, and stay on as they move. The distance they cover in a loop will usually satisfy a large part or all of the 200 meters requirement by itself.

Step 2: Supplement balloon travel with other airborne actions if needed. Sprint and spam jump whenever safe, use Launch Pads when you find them, and deploy your wingsuit or glider from high ground to glide as far as possible. All of these count as airborne travel.

Step 3: Keep an eye on quest progress between matches. Once your accumulated airborne distance reaches 200 meters, the objective is completed, and you gain another 400 Cred.

Tip: Long falls taken while you intentionally eliminate yourself for Kenny’s Respawn Token can also contribute to this total, so combining both quests in a single sequence is efficient.

Mph mpph mhppmmph – hire a specialist NPC

The final Kenny quest asks you to hire one of the map’s specialist NPCs, tying directly into Battle Royale’s companion system. You only need to do this once.

Step 1: Accumulate at least 600 Gold. Gold is earned by opening chests and safes, looting cash registers, eliminating players, completing Job Board quests, or by breaking objects during the Gold Rush Rift Anomaly. The price to hire any specialist is 600, so you must reach this threshold before you approach an NPC.

Step 2: Choose a specialist to hire and head to their spawn area early in a match before other players take them. Current specialist locations include:

  • Cat Holloway (Medic) at Humble Hills
  • Kingston (Medic) at Bumpy Bay
  • Carina (Supply) at or just north of Lethal Labs
  • Miles Cross (Heavy) at Painted Palms
  • Carter Wu (Heavy) at Latte Landing

Step 3: Interact with the NPC and select the hire option in the dialog wheel, confirming the 600 Gold cost. As soon as the specialist joins your side and begins following you, the quest will register as complete, and you receive 400 Cred.

Tip: Because hired specialists also fight alongside you, it can be efficient to save this quest for a match where you expect heavy combat, then treat the Gold as both quest progress and a combat power boost.

Kenny’s set sits roughly in the middle of the Born in Chaos progression, and it is designed to push you into a mix of normal Battle Royale behaviors: dropping at a landmark, dying and respawning, working with teammates, moving across the map in the air, and experimenting with NPC hires. If you want the fastest route to your Memberberry, the usual pattern is to clear the pylon visit, the airborne distance, the revive requirement, and the specialist hire, then fold in the headshots and Respawn Token objective as you naturally play more matches.
