How to complete A Bad Feeling quickly

  • Accept A Bad Feeling from Celeste, then queue into Dam Battlegrounds.
  • Head west. This area is the most dependable for finding an ARC Courier mounted on an ARC Baron’s carcass, guarded by ARCs.
  • Scan for visual cues: rising black smoke from wreckage, or a rocket dropping from the sky (that’s often an ARC Probe).
  • Secure the site. Clear nearby ARCs before interacting.
  • Approach the object and breach it, then use the prompt to search it. This completes the quest objective.
  • Extract to bank your loot, then speak to Celeste back in Speranza to collect the materials reward.
Tip: When a Courier sits on an ARC Baron, expect a flame burst if you linger. Don’t stay rooted at the top; breach, search, and reposition.

Where to find an ARC Probe

ARC Probes look like rocket pods and can appear anywhere across the map. They’re slightly more common than Couriers and will sometimes slam down within view. If you spot a rocket falling or hear it land, sprint to it and search immediately. Probes are self-contained: there’s no climbing puzzle, just a quick breach and loot.

Where to find an ARC Courier

ARC Couriers are broken delivery units that spawn at raid start and can be harder to pin down—unless you target specific hotspots on Dam Battlegrounds. On the western side of the map, some ancient ARC Barons have a Courier perched on top. These sites are usually defended, and the Baron hull may spit fire when you begin looting.

  • Clear the surrounding ARCs first to avoid getting pinned during the breach.
  • Climb the Baron’s body to the Courier and start the interaction.
  • Keep moving between animation beats to avoid flame pulses.
  • Once searched, your objective is done. Extract to lock in your haul.

Objective logic and hand-in

Interacting with and searching either object (Probe or Courier) is what advances the quest. Extracting secures whatever you pulled from the container and lets you turn in to Celeste for the resource payout: 10 Metal Parts, 5 Steel Springs, and 5 Duct Tape. With that done, the questline moves on to Hatch Repairs.

The fastest loop is consistent: queue into Dam Battlegrounds, push west, look for smoke columns or a fresh Probe drop, secure, breach, search, and leave. You only need one successful search, so don’t overstay once you’ve checked the box.
