ARC Raiders ‘After Rain Comes’ quest: Repair steps and rewards
Arc RaidersHow to find the panels, what to bring, and how to complete the repair safely.
The “After Rain Comes” quest in Arc Raiders is a short, focused repair job with one catch: you’re a sitting target while the fix completes. Trader Celeste sends you to the Buried City to bring a solar array back online near the Grandioso Apartments. If you arrive with the right materials and clear the area before you start, it’s a quick in-and-out with solid XP and a cosmetic payout.
Quest prerequisites and what to carry
You can complete this objective in a single raid if you bring the materials with you. The repair consumes the parts, so budget for the loss if you’re carrying extras for crafting.
| Required item | Quantity | Consumed on repair |
|---|---|---|
| Wires | 5 | Yes |
| Batteries | 2 | Yes |
Where to find the Grandioso Apartments solar panels
Head to the Buried City map and make for the Grandioso Apartments on the west side. They sit left of Plaza Rosa, across the Abandoned Highway. You’re looking for a ground-level solar installation beside the buildings, not rooftop panels.
- Look for several sand-dusted panels laid out on the ground.
- Identify the faulty section by the yellow service box with an electrical icon beneath another set of panels.
Reaching the site completes the “find the flooded solar panels” objective and sets you up for the repair.
How to repair the solar panel safely
Interact with the yellow service box to start the fix. The repair requires a continuous hold — releasing cancels progress and you’ll have to start again. Any interruption (damage, knockback, disengaging) can break the channel, so stabilize the area first.
- Clear nearby ARC patrols and listen for other raiders. Noise from firefights travels and can draw attention.
- Start the repair and hold the prompt until the on-screen progress completes.
- On success, the objective updates to indicate the panel is repaired.
Extract and turn in
With the panel restored, extract and return to Celeste to claim the reward. In Buried City you can leave through any of the standard exits:
- Evacuation elevators
- Metro stations
- Raider hatches (these require keys but are safer)
Choose the nearest option that doesn’t drag you through active fights. The mission only completes on successful extraction and turn-in.
Rewards for “After Rain Comes”
- 24,000 XP
- Showstopper cosmetic item(s)

Quests like “After Rain Comes” come from traders in Speranza and are designed to slot into a 30-minute raid loop. Bring what you need, avoid unnecessary fights, and leave with the objective done. If you’re playing solo, expect the repair window to be the tense part — plan your route out before you start the fix.
Once you’ve banked this quest, you’ll have a clearer read on how Arc Raiders handles “do a thing, then extract” objectives: arrive prepared, secure the site, complete a hold-to-interact task, and leave without broadcasting your exit path. The same playbook carries through many early trader missions.
