ARC Raiders Digging Up Dirt: Find the Santa Maria Houses dead drop
Arc RaidersA direct route into the sealed Old Town building so you can grab the white dead drop and move on.
“Digging Up Dirt” is a compact objective-driven quest that sends you to Old Town’s Santa Maria Houses in the Buried City to recover a dead drop tied to Toledo Tubes Management. The trick isn’t the search — it’s getting inside a building whose doors and lower windows are buried and blocked. Here’s a clean, no-waste path from street to stash.

Reach the Santa Maria Houses (Old Town)
Head to Old Town on the Buried City map and navigate to the cluster of buildings marked as the Santa Maria Houses. From street level you’ll find the obvious entrances unusable — lower floors are sand-choked and ground-level doors and windows are sealed. Don’t waste time on the balconies; they’re not a viable entry.
Get inside via the rooftop footbridge
Face the Santa Maria Houses and turn to the building directly opposite. Climb onto that roof, then move along the rooftop path until you reach a narrow plank/footbridge spanning over to the Santa Maria Houses. Cross the plank, get onto the target rooftop, and drop through the open hole to access the interior.
Inside, use the zip line to descend safely toward the ground floor. Watch for a turret guarding the area — clear it before you move into the center of the space.
Secure the dead drop
On the sand-filled ground level you’ll find a white dead drop container positioned in the middle. Interact with it to log the intel and complete the objective. If your marker doesn’t immediately resolve, step away and re‑approach the container until the prompt appears.
Exit without backtracking
To avoid retracing your rooftop route, look along the ground-floor perimeter for a weak window panel slightly left of center. Kick it to break out to the street and leave the compound quickly.
What you gain and what’s next
Turning over the dead drop awards a Buried City Residential Master Key and 21,000 XP, and it advances Celeste’s thread toward “Turnabout.” If you’re still on “Tribute To Toledo,” finish that first; otherwise, move straight on with the next objective in the chain.
