Field Depots are small prefab buildings topped with a radar mast and a patch of blue tarp. They show up on every map, and they’re always in the same spots from raid to raid. On Dam Battlegrounds, there are exactly six. If you’re working on the Off The Radar quest, you only need to reach one and repair its antenna.

What a Field Depot looks like in Arc Raiders

Look for a compact, RV-like metal cabin with a tall antenna on the roof. A bit of blue tarpaulin is draped across the top, and a ladder leads up to the dish so you can access the repair point. You’ll typically find a single main doorway and a straightforward interior with a deposit device (used later for Field Crates).

Once you’re nearby, the game helps: the Field Depot icon appears on your map only when you get close enough, and it can fade again if you move far away. Expect that reveal radius to be short, so plan to sweep the final stretch visually rather than relying on the map alone.

All Field Depot locations (Dam Battlegrounds)

These six spawns are fixed. Use the landmarks below to plot a route from your spawn point.

Depot location Nearest landmarks Notes
Water Towers – Electrical Substation Between the Water Towers and the Electrical Substation Clear line of sight between the two POIs; the depot sits roughly on that corridor.
Red Lakes ridge Between Research & Administration and Testing Annex, overlooking the Red Lakes Often referred to as the Red Lakes Balcony area; scan the ridgeline above the water.
Southwest Loading Bay Near the southwest corner of Loading Bay Hug the outer edge of the facility; the depot is just off the main thoroughfares.
South Swamp forest Between Water Treatment, Old Battleground, and South Swamp Outpost Set a course from South Swamp Outpost ~150m northeast; look for the roof dish through the trees.
Hydroponic Dome Complex Inside the Hydroponic Dome Complex (central–west) Buried within the complex; expect nearby traffic and patrols.
Power Generation east edge Far eastern edge of the Power Generation Complex Just south of Raider Outpost East; roughly northwest of the Pump House Hatch extraction.
Note: Naming on some points can vary slightly on the in-game map, but there are still only six total depots on Dam Battlegrounds. If two descriptions seem close together, you’re likely triangulating the same structure from different POIs.

Complete Off The Radar (visit and repair)

The quest is brief and risk comes from exposure, not complexity. Do this:

  • Approach any Field Depot to trigger the “Visit a Field Depot” objective.
  • Climb to the roof and interact with the antenna base to repair it. The animation takes a few seconds; you’re fully exposed.

Once the repair finishes, the quest is done. You do not need to extract for it to count; you can turn it in after the raid even if you die.

How Field Depots work after the quest (Field Crates)

Field Depots pay out loot when you deliver ARC Field Crates to the deposit device inside. Crates spawn near depots each raid. When you pick one up, your raider carries it with both hands; you move slower and must drop it to use a weapon. Solo runs are doable if the area is clear, but it’s safer with a squadmate covering the route.

  • Carry a Field Crate into the depot and place it on the glowing platform.
  • The crate vanishes and a compartment opens with random rewards such as ammo, meds, throwables, and materials.
  • You can repeat this with multiple crates for multiple loot rolls in the same raid.

Depositing is loud for a moment and the interior funnels you through obvious choke points. Clear the approach before you commit.

Find one quickly at spawn (map icon behavior)

Open your map as soon as you drop and chart a path toward whichever of the six you’re closest to. As you move in, watch for the Field Depot icon to pop once you’re within a short range (roughly the final tens of meters). If you lose visual, aim for the listed landmark pairings in the table—most depots sit on a direct line between two named POIs.

Safety and routing considerations

Player traffic spikes at high-value POIs. On Dam Battlegrounds, be especially cautious around Hydroponic Dome and the Power Generation Complex. If you want a quieter route for Off The Radar, the South Swamp forest depot is a reliable pick: it sits away from central loot paths and is easy to spot by scanning treetops for the roof dish.

Once you’ve repaired a dish for Off The Radar, use the same depots to deliver Field Crates when that follow-up objective appears. Learning these six fixed spawns on Dam Battlegrounds pays off early—both for quest turn-ins and for dependable, fast loot during raids.
