ARC Raiders Harvester puzzle — How to loot legendary blueprints

The Harvester is a rotating, high‑value event in ARC Raiders that spawns on specific maps and runs for limited windows. It sits under the watch of the ARC Queen, but you don’t need to fight her to get the loot. The job is simple in concept: get in, survive hazard cycles, complete a two‑phase puzzle, claim your reward, and get out clean.

Find the Harvester event (map rotation and location)

Step 1: On the map selection screen, look for the Harvester event to be active before matchmaking. The event appears on a rotation and won’t be available every session.

Step 2: Prioritize Dam Battlegrounds when the event is up, especially in the Red Lakes area near the mid‑map. This is a common Harvester spawn location.

Step 3: If it’s not on Dam during your session, check back on later rotations or look for it on other maps such as Blue Gate. The event does not stay fixed to one map.

Step 4: Mark the Harvester and plot a route that minimizes open sightlines to the Queen. You want cover and multiple exit options in case other ARC patrols shift.

Prepare your approach (gear and squad setup)

Step 1: Equip a strong kit geared for quick entries and exits. Favor mobility and sustained uptime over long, noisy fights.

Step 2: Add a zipline to your loadout for a fast approach and emergency extraction. A zipline lets you cross dangerous ground quickly and predictably.

Step 3: Unequip your shield before going inside the Harvester. The interior periodically emits EMP pulses (blue flash) that stun and drain shields but do not damage health.

Step 4: If you’re in a trio, assign roles now. One player per power‑cell slot during Phase 1 cuts the time you are exposed between hazard cycles.

Enter the Harvester safely (vents and hazard cues)

Step 1: Wait until the Queen patrols away from your chosen entrance. Patience reduces the chance of drawing aggro and getting pinned outside.

Step 2: Breach one of the three vent doors with your pickaxe and move inside. Each vent functions as both an entry and a temporary safe spot during flame cycles.

Step 3: Watch the central column’s lights for hazard warnings. Orange/yellow indicates an imminent pyro blast; blue indicates an EMP pulse.

Step 4: If the column flashes orange/yellow, step back out into the open vent corridor until the flames subside. Re‑enter once the fire stops.

Step 5: If the column flashes blue, keep your distance and wait out the EMP. With your shield unequipped, it’s a brief stun with no health loss.

Solve the Harvester puzzle — Phase 1 (install three power cells)

Step 1: Take a lift to the upper level and breach the small wall panels to search for cylindrical power cells. Two cells typically sit behind these breachable vents upstairs.

Step 2: Retrieve the remaining power cell located on the ground floor inside the Harvester. Keep it near you so you can react quickly after hazard cycles.

Step 3: Place the collected cells on the floor beside the central column. Pre‑staging reduces movement and speeds up slotting between flame cycles.

Step 4: Breach one of the three lower slots on the central column. These are the receptacles that accept the power cells.

Step 5: Insert a power cell into the opened slot immediately. Fast insertion prevents losing your window to an incoming flame cycle.

Step 6: Breach the second slot on the column. Keep your eyes on the column lights while you work.

Step 7: Insert the second power cell into that slot. Staying close to the column trims precious seconds off the process.

Step 8: Breach the third slot on the column. Avoid re‑positioning that exposes you to the Queen’s sightline.

Step 9: Insert the third power cell into the last slot. All three cells seated will trigger Phase 2.

Step 10: If the flames trigger during insertion, exit to a vent corridor immediately. Standing inside during pyro will interrupt progress and waste time.

Step 11: After the flames end, re‑enter and reinsert any ejected cells back into their slots. Ejection on flame is expected; simply reseat and continue.

Solve the Harvester puzzle — Phase 2 (destroy all yellow buttons)

Step 1: When all three cells are seated, look for yellow buttons extending from walls and the floor. These are your targets for this phase.

Step 2: Use melee to destroy the ground‑floor buttons with overhead swings. Melee avoids reload interruptions from EMP and limits noise outside.

Step 3: Ride a lift to the upper platform to reach the remaining buttons. This keeps movement efficient as you sweep the room.

Step 4: Destroy the upper‑level buttons with standard melee swings. Keep moving to avoid splash damage from outside ARC enemies.

Step 5: If the buttons retract back into the walls, exit to a vent corridor; flames are about to fire. The retraction is your early warning to get clear.

Step 6: Re‑enter after the flames and resume clearing remaining buttons. Progress persists between cycles—destroyed buttons stay gone.

Claim rewards and extract

Step 1: Loot the three containers that extend from the central column once all buttons are destroyed. Rewards can include legendary weapon blueprints such as Jupiter and Equalizer.

Step 2: Wait for the Queen to turn away, then slip out through a vent or ride your zipline out. Staying disciplined here prevents a last‑second wipe.

Step 3: Move to the nearest extraction point or a Raider’s Hatch if you have a key. Choose the closest option that keeps you out of the Queen’s sight.

Step 4: Put valuable blueprints in your safe pocket immediately. If you go down on the way out, you’ll still keep those items.

Done cleanly, the Harvester run takes a few hazard cycles and pays out some of the game’s best loot. Keep your shield off, watch the column lights, and you’ll walk away with the goods.
