ARC Raiders now rotates in a Hidden Bunker map condition that places a long‑sealed vault near the Spaceport outskirts. When it’s live, both ARC and rival Raiders converge fast, and the path to open the bunker isn’t passive—you’ll have to trigger events, fight through swarms, and then move quickly before the area gets overrun.
Hidden Bunker (Spaceport): location and unlock steps
On the Spaceport map (Accera Spaceport), the Hidden Bunker sits out on the western outskirts. When the Hidden Bunker condition is active, special interactables appear and the open sequence becomes possible for everyone on the server.
- Look for four antenna dishes that spawn around the center of the Spaceport map during this condition.
- Interacting with an antenna triggers ARC insect swarms—expect Wasps and Hornets. Clear the wave, then activate the dish.
- Once all four antennas are activated (by you or any squad), the Hidden Bunker door unlocks for all Raiders. The vault is formerly known as the Outskirts Bunker.
- Some instances require hitting four buttons to unlock bunker doors. If you see button prompts instead of antennas, treat them as the objective and coordinate to press all four.
Spaceport Outskirts Bunker Key (variant access)
There is a key variant tied to the Spaceport: a “Spaceport Outskirts Bunker Key” can be used on the hidden bunker positioned far to the west of the map. When you have the key, you can open the door directly on runs where the event-style unlock isn’t required. Treat the western ridge and fields as contested territory and expect company the moment the door starts moving.
Blue Gate Raider’s Refuge secret bunker (location and unlock)
Blue Gate has its own high-end secret bunker, separate from the Spaceport event. The Raider’s Refuge bunker sits inside the main structure on the Blue Gate map and uses a lightweight puzzle instead of antennas.
- Press the Raider’s Refuge button inside the primary structure to start the sequence.
- Find three hidden switches scattered nearby; their positions change every run.
- Completing the set opens access to high-tier loot, rare components, and a wardrobe cache with cosmetics.
Threats and loadout recommendations
- ARC swarms: Wasps and Hornets spawn on Spaceport antenna interactions. Bring a medium or heavy weapon for crowd control.
- Player pressure: Both bunkers attract squads—expect ambushes as soon as objectives are touched or the door opens.
- Mobility: Travel light where possible for stamina, and keep a clear exit route in mind before you climb up or drop down into bunker interiors.
Quick reference: hidden bunker spots and how to open
| Map | Bunker | How it unlocks | Where to look | Risks | Loot notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Spaceport (Accera Spaceport) | Hidden Bunker (Outskirts Bunker) | Activate four antennas during the Hidden Bunker map condition; some runs may use four button presses instead. | Western outskirts; antennas spawn around the map center during the event. | ARC swarms (Wasps/Hornets); other Raiders converge once any antenna/door is activated. | Server-wide opening; get in quickly and rotate out before the area fills up. |
| Spaceport (variant) | Hidden Bunker via key | Use the Spaceport Outskirts Bunker Key on the bunker door. | Far west of Spaceport. | High player interest; exposed approach lines. | Direct access when keyed; no event steps required. |
| Blue Gate | Raider’s Refuge secret bunker | Press the Raider’s Refuge button, then find three hidden switches (locations change each run). | Inside the main structure on Blue Gate. | Player ambushes while you search; elevated sniper sightlines. | High-tier loot, rare components, wardrobe/cosmetic cache. |
Availability and timing
The Spaceport Hidden Bunker is tied to a rotating map condition. When it’s active, you’ll see the environmental objectives and hear the chatter that pulls Raiders and ARC toward the outskirts. When it’s not active, treat the door as sealed unless you’re using the Outskirts Bunker Key variant. Blue Gate’s Raider’s Refuge puzzle can be run on demand when you reach the site.
Both routes are worth the risk if you move with intent: clear the trigger area, complete the steps quickly, and extract before the late arrivals show up.
