ARC Raiders: How To Finish The On The Map Quest

On The Map in ARC Raiders takes place at the Spaceport and asks you to ping your position from several landmarks before tagging a specific container. Every objective is tied to a very small interaction spot, so knowing exactly where to stand is what matters most.

Quick answer: Go to Fuel Lines → Fuel Control antenna → cactus patch by the wall breach → roof of the Container Storage building → tarp-covered container on the building’s ground floor, interacting at each location as soon as the prompt appears.

On The Map quest objectives

On The Map is a multi-step mission introduced in the Headwinds update. All objectives are on the Spaceport map and must be completed in sequence:

Order Objective
1 Head to where the Fuel Lines snapped and transmit your location.
2 Head to the antenna near the Fuel Control and transmit your location.
3 Head to the cactus patch in the wall breach.
4 Transmit your location from the roof of the Container Storage building.
5 Find the container covered in tarp and mark it.

Fuel Lines location and triangulation

Start by deploying into the Spaceport and moving toward the Fuel Lines area in the central part of the map. This zone is easy to recognize by the huge pipeline structures crossing the terrain.

Look for a section where the pipes are broken rather than continuous. As you walk up to the snapped part of the pipeline, a prompt appears to transmit or triangulate your position (on keyboard, this uses the E key).

Interact once to complete the first objective and update the quest.

Antenna near Fuel Control

From the broken Fuel Lines, make your way to Fuel Control. This facility sits to the left of Rocket Assembly when you check your map.

In the Fuel Control area, look for a tall antenna tower. You do not need to climb it; standing near the base is enough. When you are close enough, the same triangulation prompt appears.

Use the interaction key again to transmit your location and finish the second step.

Cactus patch in the wall breach

The next objective is a cactus patch in a breached section of the wall, not far from Fuel Control. Head in the direction of the Container Storage building; the cactus is located near that structure.

Once you reach the patch of cactus plants, walk into the middle of it. The quest only progresses if you are in the correct small trigger area, so adjust your position until the triangulation prompt comes up, then interact to log the location.

Container Storage rooftop transmission

With the cactus step done, turn toward the nearby Container Storage building. From the cactus patch, this building should be directly in front of you.

Find the zipline that leads up to the roof and ride it to the top. On the rooftop, move around until you reach the designated spot used for the quest. As with previous steps, the interaction prompt appears only when you stand in the correct place.

Marking the tarp-covered container

The last task takes place inside the same Container Storage building. Drop down or use internal routes to reach the ground floor.

On this level, search for a cargo container that is clearly covered with a tarp. When you get close enough, you gain the option to mark it with spray paint.

Use the interaction prompt to tag the container. Once the spray action finishes, On The Map is complete, and the quest rewards are granted.
