ARC Raiders Map Conditions Schedule and Rotation Times

ARC Raiders features a rotating system of Map Conditions that change the gameplay on each of the five available maps. These conditions run on a fixed 24-hour schedule, cycling through every hour, which means planning your raids around specific events is essential if you want to encounter particular challenges or loot opportunities.

Quick answer: Map Conditions rotate every hour across all five maps (Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, The Blue Gate, and Stella Montis). The full schedule repeats every 24 hours, and times can be converted to your local timezone using the Pacific Time base as reference.

Understanding Map Conditions

Map Conditions are dynamic events that alter how a map plays during a raid. They come in two categories: major conditions that introduce high-stakes encounters, and minor conditions that emphasize resource gathering or exploration.

Major Map Conditions include Night Raid (increased enemy activity and darkness), Electromagnetic Storm (environmental hazard affecting certain areas), Hidden Bunker (unlocks a secret location), and Locked Gate (restricts access to certain points of interest until you open them). These tend to present greater challenges but can reward skilled players with better loot.

Minor Map Conditions include Harvester (enemy units appear for combat), Matriarch (boss encounter), Bird City (exclusive to Buried City, spawns collectible items), Launch Tower Loot (resource concentration), Husk Graveyard (enemy spawn event), and Uncovered Caches (hidden supply locations). These events often favor preparation and positioning over raw combat ability.

How the Schedule Works

Not every map has an active condition at all times. You'll notice gaps (marked with "—") where a map has no event running. This downtime is intentional and encourages players to experience different maps and adapt their loadouts to varying situations. The rotation is fixed and repeats identically every 24 hours, so if you miss an event, you'll have another chance at the same time the next day.

Some maps and time slots feature multiple conditions running simultaneously. For example, Hidden Bunker and Matriarch may both be active on the Spaceport during the 1:00 AM – 2:00 AM window, creating a more complex raid environment with both the secret location and a boss encounter available.

Converting to Your Local Time

The schedule above uses Pacific Time as the base. To find your local time, add or subtract the offset for your timezone:

  • Central Time (CT): Add 2 hours to the PT time listed
  • Eastern Time (ET): Add 3 hours to the PT time listed
  • Greenwich Mean Time (GMT): Add 8 hours to the PT time listed
  • New Zealand Daylight Time (NZDT): Subtract 3 hours from the PT time listed
  • Australian Eastern Time (AET): Subtract 5 hours from the PT time listed

For example, if you're on Eastern Time and want to know when Matriarch appears on The Blue Gate, find the 12:00 AM – 1:00 AM row in the schedule, then add 3 hours to get 3:00 AM ET.

Planning Your Raids

The fixed schedule means you can plan ahead to encounter specific conditions. If you want to farm a particular event for loot or complete a challenge tied to a condition, check the table to find the time slot and map combination you need, then convert it to your timezone. Keep in mind that the schedule is subject to change, so check back periodically if you notice discrepancies between the table and what you see in-game.

Some conditions are more challenging than others. Night Raid and Electromagnetic Storm present significant obstacles, while Harvester and Uncovered Caches are generally more forgiving. Tailor your loadout and squad composition based on the condition you're entering.
