The Market Correction quest in Arc Raiders sends you to Buried City to track down and sabotage a cache near Marano Station. The objective sounds straightforward, but the cache’s appearance and exact position make it easy to run past it multiple times.
Where Marano Station is on the Buried City map
Marano Station sits on the western side of the Buried City map, in the Outskirts area. When you zoom in on the tactical map, look to the left of the Library point of interest. You’ll see the Marano Station label next to a Raider hatch icon, marking the station as a notable location.
The cache objective isn’t inside the station building itself. Instead, it’s tucked just beyond it, near a small prefab structure by the car park at the north end of the station complex.

What the Marano Station cache looks like
A big part of the confusion comes from how the cache is presented. You are not looking for a chest or high-tech container.
- The cache resembles two metal trash cans or canisters strapped or tied together against a wall.
- They’re partially buried in sand and look like ordinary environmental clutter at a glance.
- There are two similar sets of canisters in the area; the correct set is the northern one, closer to the car park.
Once you know you’re looking for what looks like a pair of trash cans rather than a traditional loot box, the objective becomes much easier to spot.

Exact cache position near Marano Station
Use the Marano Station label on the map as your main anchor, then look for a small separate building just above it when fully zoomed in:
- Head to Marano Station on the western edge of Buried City.
- Zoom the map all the way in and find the small, square building directly above the “Marano Station” text.
- On the western side of this small building, by the car park, you’ll find the two trash-can canisters against the wall.
From ground level, you’ll see a compact metal or prefab structure at the far end of the station area. Walk around to its western face and look along the wall for the double canisters. They sit very close to each other and will trigger an interaction prompt when you get close enough.
How to complete Market Correction at Marano Station
Step 1: Queue into Buried City, ideally with a Free Loadout if you don’t want to risk gear. Open your map and mark Marano Station on the western side, just left of the Library.
Step 2: Move through the Outskirts toward Marano Station, using the debris and low walls for cover to avoid ARC patrols and other raiders.
Step 3: Once you reach the station, push to the north end of the complex and locate the small square building above the station label on the map. Go to the western side of this building and approach the two connected trash-can canisters by the wall.
Step 4: Interact with the canisters once to “locate” or investigate the cache. This satisfies the first part of the quest objective.

Step 5: Interact with the same canisters a second time to sabotage the cache. This completes the Market Correction for Tian Wen.

You do not need to extract to lock in quest progress. Once both interactions (investigate and sabotage) are done in a single raid, the quest is counted as complete even if you die before reaching an extraction point.
Combat and extraction considerations around Marano Station
The Outskirts around Marano Station provide plenty of hard cover, so it’s possible to creep in relatively safely if you take your time. However, other raiders may also be moving through the area for the same quest or for loot, and ARC bots can wander the nearby streets.
If you want to leave the raid afterward, a practical option is to move toward the nearby Library and use the Northern Station extraction hatch beside it. That route lets you loot along the way and offers several pieces of cover as you move out of the station area.
Loot opportunities near Marano Station
Marano Station doubles as an efficient early-game loot spot, which makes Market Correction a good excuse to visit even if you’re mainly focused on progression.
- Up at the station itself, look for a room with a barred or barricaded door on the edge of the building.
- Breaking into this room often reveals multiple loot containers, commonly including higher-rarity weapons, throwables, and ammo crates.
- Players frequently report finding at least one high-tier (purple or pink) item in these containers on each visit.
Because of this, the area can sometimes attract more raiders than the quiet surroundings might suggest. Clear angles before you commit to breaching the barricaded door, and be ready for ambushes from other players who know the value of the spot.
Once you can reliably recognize the “double trash can” cache and the small building just above the Marano Station label on the Buried City map, Market Correction becomes a short detour rather than a frustrating search. The quest is finished as soon as you’ve sabotaged the cache, whether you extract afterward or not, and the station’s loot room makes the trip worthwhile beyond the quest rewards.
