Identify the correct structure
Target a tiny, roughly square Raider shack with a flat roof. In this pocket of the forest, it’s effectively the only standalone building, which makes it easy to distinguish from:
- Nearby cables/towers or a distant satellite structure, which are not the objective
- Crates, boxes, and tarps on the ground, which are only climbing aids
When you’re in the right place, you’ll see dislodged sheet metal on the roof surface—those are the “roof plates.”
Climb up and nail down the plates
- Approach the shack and look for a box or low lip you can mantle. If needed, circle the structure; the east or side walls often give the easiest boost.
- Climb onto the roof. Stand on or next to the loose metal sheets.
- When the interaction prompt appears, hold the interact button to “nail down” the plates. The task completes immediately.
