Route to the EMP trap at Victory Ridge

Set a course for Victory Ridge on Dam Battlegrounds. Expect low visibility—the nearby harvester throws up haze that makes landmarks harder to read. Follow the waypoint to the old EMP unit and interact with it to trigger the switch phase.

Disable the three power switches (exact spots)

  1. First switch: Look uphill from the trap site. The first breaker sits on a small rise. Climb up and interact to cut power at this node.
  2. Second switch: Find the stack with a generator and a short wall section nearby. Climb onto the generator, then up to the wall ledge. The second breaker is mounted at the top.
  3. Third switch: Drop down from the elevated wall area and scan for a ground-level opening with a cable running out of it. Follow that cable; a broken tree on your left is your landmark. The final breaker is positioned next to that tree.
Tip: If the haze obscures the cable to the third switch, sweep your reticle along the ground from the hole outward—the wire run is the fastest way to orient.

Shut down the trap and finish the quest

With all three switches off, return to the original EMP unit at Victory Ridge. Interact once more to power it down fully and complete the assignment.

Straight Record is a compact contract once you know the three switch positions. Clear the breakers in a loop, then return to the unit at Victory Ridge to secure the shutdown and collect Celeste’s payout.
