- Dam — Generator room door: There’s a locked door that consumes a Power Rod to open. Don’t use your only Power Rod here until the quest is complete. Inside are red lockers and solid loot, useful if you have a spare.
- Dam — Water Treatment spider wreck: At the spider‑icon wreck near the Water Treatment Control building, breaching the top entrance can reward a Power Rod. The wreck explodes after the breach, dealing heavy damage and attracting nearby ARCs. Grab the item, jump down, and heal behind cover.
- Spaceport — underground tunnels: Breachable power panels along the walls have a good chance to drop a Power Rod. Breach containers in the tunnels can contain them too, though at a lower rate. Some containers require the Security Breach skill.
- Exodus locations: Power Rods are part of the rare loot pool at these sites.
