Eastwood is scheduled to arrive in November as the centerpiece of Season 1’s second phase. The publisher hasn’t shared a specific day for the November drop.

Map setting and scale

Eastwood shifts the fight to a Southern California suburb—an area of quiet streets, backyard pools, and a private golf course that’s now an active combat zone. The map is built to support all combat sizes and includes space for both infantry and vehicles, with lanes that move between dense residential blocks and open fairways.

Eastwood supports land vehicles and helicopters.

Modes and vehicles arriving with Eastwood

  • Limited-time mode: Sabotage (16 players, designed for 8v8).
  • REDSEC: an additional Gauntlet Mode.
  • Two new weapons usable across Battlefield 6 and REDSEC.
  • Map-specific vehicle: golf cart, adding light, quick traversal within the neighborhood and across the course.

Season 1 timeline at a glance

Phase Timing Key additions
Rogue Ops (Phase 1) October Blackwell Fields map set on a California oil field; APC Traverser Mark 2 land vehicle; standard vehicle roster (helicopters, planes, tanks).
California Resistance (Phase 2) November Eastwood suburban map (supports all combat sizes, land vehicles, helicopters); Sabotage 16-player mode (8v8); REDSEC Gauntlet Mode; two new weapons; golf cart on Eastwood.
Winter Offensive (Phase 3) Winter holiday period Ice Lock Empire State, a winter-themed variant of Empire State; no new vehicle announced.

What to expect from Eastwood’s playstyle

Expect a mix of close-quarters and long-range engagements. Street grids and single-family homes favor tight infantry fights through interiors and backyards, while the golf course opens into longer sightlines where ranged play and vehicle movement matter. The inclusion of helicopters and light utility like the golf cart gives squads more options to reposition between objectives.

If you’re planning your return in Season 1, set your sights on November for the Eastwood drop in Phase 2, with the winter variant of Empire State closing out the season afterward.
