BitLife’s Thanksgiving Scavenger Hunt is a 10‑task event built around “totems” that unlock when you perform specific actions. Some objectives only require you to initiate the activity (you’ll get credit even if you fail or get caught), while others need you to complete a simple menu flow. You can clear the list in any order, but a few tasks pair well together and a couple are easier to leave for last.

Crystal Gravy Boat: Atomic Wedgie
Open Activities > Crime > Murder, pick a target, and choose Atomic Wedgie as the method. You receive the totem as soon as you initiate the attempt, regardless of success or arrest. If the option doesn’t appear, back out and retry later.
Friendsgiving Turkey: befriend 10+ people
During school years, open your class list and use Befriend on classmates. You can also befriend coworkers and random encounters as you age up. If someone declines, build rapport first by Compliment, Gift, or Spend Time, then try again until your Friends count is 10 or more.
Golden Turkey Drumstick: give a relative $1,000
Go to Relationships, select a sibling, parent, or another relative, and choose Give Money. Set the amount to $1,000 and confirm. Immediate family typically accepts gifts more reliably than distant relatives.
Horn of Plenty: gift a house
If you don’t own a property, buy an inexpensive one via Assets > Go Shopping (a tiny home, trailer, or studio works). Then open Assets > Properties, select the home, and use Gift to give it to a friend or relative. Note that some recipients may refuse low‑value homes; try another person if they decline.
Meemaw’s Wig: bank robbery in a Mrs. Doubtfire disguise
Open Activities > Crime > Bank Robbery. Choose any bank, weapon, and getaway, but set the disguise to Mrs. Doubtfire. The disguise choices are randomized—if “Mrs. Doubtfire” isn’t listed, close the screen and re‑enter until it appears. You’ll earn the totem once you attempt the robbery, even if you’re caught.
Paper Plate Turkey: adopt out a child
With a child in your family, open Relationships, select the child, and use Adopt Out. If you don’t have a child, conceive one or adopt first (see The Kiddie Table below), then place them for adoption later to satisfy this totem.
Porcelain Casserole Dish: taxidermy a pet bird
Acquire a bird via Activities > Pets (Pet Store or Animal Shelter). Age up until the bird dies, then choose Taxidermy on the death prompt. There’s a fee, but selecting it immediately completes the objective.
The Kiddie Table: adopt a child
At age 18 or older, open Activities > Adoption and apply for a listed child. Applications can be rejected for criminal history or other factors, so use a clean character if you’re denied. Once approved, the totem unlocks on adoption.
Turkey Feather Cape: emigrate to Turkey
Go to Activities > Emigrate and look for Turkey in the country list. The list is randomized; reopen the menu if Turkey isn’t shown. If your application is denied, you can attempt to enter illegally or use premium immigration options if available to your character.
Turkey‑Shaped Oven Mitts: tanning bed
Open Activities > Salon & Spa > Tanning Salon and select Tanning Bed. Pay the small fee (typically around $15–30 depending on your location) to finish the task.
Recommended order to finish faster
- Knock out the two adoption tasks together: adopt a child (The Kiddie Table), then later adopt them out (Paper Plate Turkey).
- Buy a cheap property early so you can gift it immediately for Horn of Plenty.
- Leave the crime tasks (Atomic Wedgie and Bank Robbery) for last if you want to avoid disrupting your run with potential prison time—both totems trigger on attempt.
When options don’t appear
- Atomic Wedgie / Mrs. Doubtfire not listed: back out of the Murder or Bank Robbery screen and try again later; disguise and method lists rotate.
- No bird available: age up or check both Pet Store and Animal Shelter. The taxidermy choice only appears at the pet’s death prompt.
- Turkey missing in Emigrate: reopen the Emigrate menu until it shows up; if denied, retry or use alternative entry options available to your character.
- Adoption rejected: apply with a character who has no criminal record and is within a suitable age range.

What you get for finishing
Completing all 10 totems grants a cosmetic reward. Expect a random accessory—headwear, eyewear, or clothing—added to your account once the event checklist is done.
