Kogot-7 SMG unlock (Battle Pass Page 3)
The Kogot-7 is a fast-firing, high-mobility SMG that effectively fills the MP7-shaped gap in Black Ops 7’s sandbox. It trades raw damage and range for speed, quick handling, and a very forgiving fire rate.
Key stats and customization:
- Weapon levels: 39
- Base magazine: 30 rounds (4 mag options total)
- Attachment slots: Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, Fire Mods
- Prestige attachment: MFS Kogot-7 Akimbo (Stock) – enables a dual-wield toggle
To unlock it, you need the free High Value Target (HVT) reward on Battle Pass Page 3.
Step 1: Purchase the Season 1 battle pass if you want the premium cosmetics, or stay on the free track – the Kogot-7 itself is a free HVT reward either way.
Step 2: Earn Battle Pass Tokens by playing any mode (Multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone, or Endgame). You can also earn some tokens from specific daily challenges.

Step 3: Open the Season 1 Battle Pass and spend Tokens on every non-HVT item on Page 3. Rewards can be unlocked in any order, but you must clear the page.
Step 4: Once all other rewards on Page 3 are claimed, spend one more Token on the Kogot-7 HVT tile to unlock the base weapon for your entire account.
After unlocking, the weapon appears in the SMG category in your loadouts across Black Ops 7 and Warzone.

Maddox RFB assault rifle unlock (Battle Pass Page 6)
The Maddox RFB returns from Black Ops 4 as a bullpup assault rifle with a very high rate of fire and a large magazine, sitting somewhere between a traditional AR and an aggressive mid-range weapon.
Key stats and customization:
- Weapon levels: 43
- Base magazine: 40 rounds (3 mag options total)
- Attachment slots: Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, Fire Mods
- Prestige attachment: 13" MFS Echo-Fire Barrel – creates rapid two-bullet bursts for extra time-to-kill potential
Like the Kogot-7, the Maddox is a free HVT weapon, this time on Page 6 of the battle pass.
Step 1: Progress through the battle pass until Page 6 becomes available. Each new page unlocks after you claim enough rewards across earlier pages.

Step 2: On Page 6, spend Battle Pass Tokens on every non-HVT reward (cosmetics, XP tokens, COD Points, etc.).
Step 3: When all other rewards are collected, use another Token to claim the Maddox RFB HVT tile and add the base weapon to your AR category.

Campaign, Zombies, multiplayer, and Warzone all read the same unlock, so you only need to do this once.
Ballistic Knife unlock (Week 1 weekly challenges)
The Ballistic Knife is a returning Black Ops classic that occupies the melee slot, functioning as both a high-damage knife and a spring-action launcher that fires retrievable blades.
Key details:
- Weapon levels: 30
- Attachments: none – only camos and cosmetic unlocks
- Behavior: lethal melee at close range; blades can be fired as projectiles and recovered from the ground
The Ballistic Knife is the Week 1 seasonal reward in the Weekly Challenges menu.
Step 1: From the main lobby, open the Career or Challenges tab and navigate to Weekly Challenges. Make sure Week 1 is selected.
Step 2: Review the challenge list for each mode (Endgame, Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone). You can complete any combination across these modes.
Step 3: Complete six Week 1 challenges in total. Each completion increments the Week 1 reward track.

Step 4: After finishing your sixth challenge, claim the Ballistic Knife from the Weekly Challenges screen to add it to your melee options.

Weekly rewards remain accessible for the entire season, so you can still unlock the Ballistic Knife later in Season 1 even if you miss Week 1’s live window.
NX Ravager crossbow unlock (Rally Point event, Week 2)
The NX Ravager is Season 1’s crossbow-style special weapon. It fires powerful bolt projectiles by default and can be converted to explosive bolts through a Fire Mod.
Key details:
- Weapon levels: 30
- Magazine: 1 bolt (15 magazines available as you level)
- Attachment slots: Optic, Magazine, Fire Mods
- Prestige attachment: Tribolt Magazine – loads three bolts at once for back-to-back shots before reloading
The NX Ravager is tied to the Rally Point limited-time event in Week 2 of Season 1.
Step 1: When the Rally Point event is live, open the Event tab from the main menu to bring up the event progression screen.
Step 2: Complete Personal Missions listed for the event. These missions award individual cosmetics and contribute progress to your personal event track.

Step 3: Play during the event window to contribute to the global Community Missions. These fill a shared progress bar across all players participating.
Step 4: Once all Community Missions are completed, the NX Ravager unlocks for every account that has taken part in the event. Claim it from the event screen if a manual claim is required.

The same unlock applies to both Black Ops 7 and Warzone, so you only need to earn it once.
Sokol 545 LMG unlock (Naughty and Nice holiday event)
The Sokol 545 is a heavy LMG built around flexibility. It offers two built-in fire modes: a slower, high-accuracy, long-range pattern, and a faster, higher-recoil mode tuned for raw damage output. It also boasts one of the largest base magazines in the class.
Key details:
- Weapon levels: 39
- Base magazine: 102 rounds (3 mag options total)
- Attachment slots: Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, Fire Mods
- Prestige attachment: MFS 48-Dread Burst Mod – converts the gun into a 6-round burst LMG
The Sokol 545 is earned during the holiday-themed Naughty and Nice event running later in the season.
Step 1: Once the Naughty and Nice event goes live, open its dedicated event screen from the main menu.
Step 2: Work through the listed event challenges. These typically require kills, objective play, or mode-specific tasks.
Step 3: Progress along the event reward track until you hit the tier that grants the Sokol 545. The gun is one of the headline rewards for the event.
Step 4: Claim the weapon from the event interface to add it to the LMG category.

The event is time-limited, but the Sokol 545 is planned to move into the Armory with a separate unlock challenge in a later season if you miss it.
Hawker HX sniper rifle unlock (mid-season event)
The Hawker HX is a bolt-action sniper rifle that effectively revives the feel of Black Ops 2’s Ballista. It emphasizes fast handling and mobility over stability and recoil control, making it a pick for aggressive snipers.
Key details:
- Weapon levels: 38
- Magazine: 7 rounds (4 mag options total)
- Attachment slots: Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, Fire Mods
- Prestige attachment: Classified Barrel that enables Tac Stance-focused play
The Hawker HX is not available at launch. It is slated to arrive with Season 1 Reloaded as part of a mid-season event.
Step 1: When Season 1 Reloaded begins, check the Events tab for the Hawker HX–linked limited-time event.
Step 2: Complete the event’s progression requirements – these may be a linear reward track or a set of specific challenges.
Step 3: When you reach the tier that lists the Hawker HX, claim it from the event screen. The unlock applies globally across modes.

Until then, long-range players will have to rely on launch snipers like the VS Recon and Shadow SK.
Sturmwolf 45 SMG unlock (mid-season event)
The Sturmwolf 45 is a full-auto SMG tuned for accuracy and headshot damage. It’s intended as a low-recoil precision choice, but with lower handling, mobility, and range compared to the hyper-mobile Kogot-7.
Key details:
- Weapon levels: 38
- Magazine: 32 rounds (4 mag options total)
- Attachment slots: Optic, Muzzle, Barrel, Underbarrel, Magazine, Rear Grip, Stock, Laser, Fire Mods
- Prestige attachment: Classified – described as a power-boosting option that increases recoil
Like the Hawker HX, the Sturmwolf 45 is scheduled for Season 1 Reloaded as a limited-time event reward.
Step 1: During mid-season, open the Events menu and look for the event that lists the Sturmwolf 45 as a reward.
Step 2: Play the required modes and complete the event tasks or reward track tiers.
Step 3: Claim the Sturmwolf 45 from the event reward screen once you reach its tier to unlock it across Black Ops 7 and Warzone.

For players who favor headshot-focused SMG playstyles, this will be a late-season priority unlock.
Where these unlocks live inside Warzone and Black Ops 7
Once you’ve met the unlock conditions, each weapon appears in the usual loadout categories in both games:
- Black Ops 7 Multiplayer and Zombies: create-a-class loadouts under the appropriate weapon class tab.
- Endgame co-op: loadout screens before queues or during mid-match refits.
- Warzone: the primary or secondary weapon slots when editing custom loadouts.
Legacy weapons from older titles continue to coexist with these new Black Ops 7 guns in Warzone, but only the Black Ops 7 set supports Weapon Prestige, Weapon Prestige Camos, the new mastery camos, and build sharing.
If you miss a battle pass page, weekly reward, or event window during Season 1, keep an eye on the Armory menu in future seasons. Weapons that were originally seasonal unlocks are planned to return there with standalone challenges so you can fill out your collection later.
