Crafting the Divine Grail in Sailor Piece — Broken Swords, Boss Island, and Summoning the King of Heroes

The Divine Grail is a Legendary-rarity crafted item in Roblox's Sailor Piece that serves a single, critical purpose: summoning the King of Heroes (Gilgamesh) boss on Boss Island. It cannot drop from enemies, spawn in chests, or be acquired through quests. The only way to get one is to craft it, and you'll need several if you want to unlock the Gilgamesh fighting style.

Quick answer: Collect 3 Broken Swords, travel to Boss Island, climb the hand statue to find the Divine Grail Crafter NPC, and trade the swords for 1 Divine Grail.

Broken Swords — The Only Ingredient You Need

Every Divine Grail costs exactly 3 Broken Swords. Broken Swords are a relatively common drop, but they only fall from sword-wielding enemies. Targeting the wrong mobs means zero progress, so picking the right farming spot matters.

Slime Warriors on Slime Island are widely considered the fastest farm. Additional locations where Broken Swords can drop include Shibuya Station, Judgement Island, and Ninja Island, though Slime Island remains the most efficient. Tougher enemies generally have better odds of dropping the item, so pushing your level ceiling pays off here.

Broken Swords only drop from enemies that wield swords. Killing non-sword mobs won't yield any, no matter how many you defeat.

Farming Broken Swords Faster

Speed matters when you need dozens of Broken Swords for multiple Divine Grails. A few mechanical levers can shorten the grind considerably.

  • High-DPS builds: Killing enemies in fewer hits appears to improve Broken Sword drop chances. Equip your strongest swords and fighting styles before farming.
  • Luck stats on the skill tree: Investing points into luck directly raises your odds of receiving drops.
  • Spec passives and traits: Certain weapon spec passives and character traits further boost drop rates. Check your loadout before starting a long session.

Crafting the Divine Grail on Boss Island

Step 1: Travel to Boss Island using the nearest portal on the Sailor Piece map. Once you arrive, look for the large hand statue near the center of the island.

Step 2: Climb or jump to the top of the hand statue. The Divine Grail Crafter NPC is positioned up there — she's easy to miss if you stay at ground level.

Step 3: Press E to interact with her and open the crafting window. Each craft consumes 3 Broken Swords and produces 1 Divine Grail. You can type a number into the text box beside the Craft button to batch-craft multiple grails at once, which saves time if you've stockpiled swords.

You'll know the craft succeeded when the Divine Grail appears in your inventory and your Broken Sword count decreases by three.

Summoning the King of Heroes (Gilgamesh)

With at least one Divine Grail in hand, head back down from the hand statue and find the Boss Summoner NPC near the portal on Boss Island.

Step 1: Interact with the Boss Summoner and scroll through the boss list until you find King of Heroes.

Step 2: Confirm you meet all three summoning requirements for Normal mode: 1 Divine Grail, 500,000 Money, and 500 Gems. If any resource is missing, the Spawn button won't work.

Step 3: Click Spawn. Gilgamesh appears at the center of Boss Island, and your Divine Grail is consumed immediately — whether you win or lose.

⚠️
Each summon burns one Divine Grail permanently. You will almost certainly need to fight Gilgamesh multiple times before his fighting style drops, so craft a healthy stockpile before you start attempting the fight.

Why You Need Multiple Divine Grails

Unlocking the Gilgamesh (King of Heroes) fighting style doesn't happen in a single kill. The boss's reward pool includes the items required for the style, but obtaining every piece takes repeated victories. There's no quest flag or key system involved — it's purely a matter of summoning, defeating, and hoping for the right drops each time. Budget at least five to ten Divine Grails before committing to the grind, and keep farming Broken Swords between attempts so you don't run dry mid-session.

The Divine Grail sits at the intersection of two separate grinds: farming Broken Swords efficiently and then surviving the Gilgamesh fight itself. Prioritize Slime Island once your level can handle it, batch-craft your grails, and stock up on Money and Gems before heading to Boss Island. The Gilgamesh fighting style — with its large AoE attacks — is one of the strongest in Sailor Piece, and the Divine Grail is the only gate standing between you and it.
